Use for fungus gnats too!
This product is well known for mosquito control but how happy was I when I discovered a dual use?!So I have some potted plants, some are outdoor and others are indoor that I set outside on occasion for natural sunlight (my windows do not get direct sun). These darned flies started infesting my plants, flying everywhere, with the occasional up the nose. I tried neem oil (also from trying on mosquitoes with zero effect), the sticky things, watering less, and mulch. none of it has worked. One day, I’m bucket watering, you know setting pots in a bucket of water as a gnat prevention (instead of watering from the top where the gnats live) and in goes a dunk for mosquitoes. Before I knew what was going on, no more gnats! So, now I grab a dunk, mash it up and it goes in the watering can. Also take some of the grinds and sprinkle liberally in the plant pots - right on top.Stuff is amazing!

These WORK!
These are necessary for the maintenance of my rain barrel. All standing water, fountains, ponds and barrels are subject to mosquito infestation. Mosquito Dunks are harmless to pond fish, pets, plants but deadly to mosquitos in the larval stage. Use Mosquito Bits to make “tea” using cheese cloth. Water plants with the tea to kill fungal gnats too!

Awesome stuff!
This stuff really works. I used to go sit on this tire that we rarely move. It's hard to imagine that it's there for looks now. Anyway, it's become a seat in the shade and has always had mosquitoes inside it because of the stagnant water. The simplicity of dropping a couple of these things in that water is self explanatory. They work. No mosquitoes!

Knocks Down the Population
We used these in the little stream that was beside our home and in our pond. It greatly reduced the mosquito population this year. Nothing really eradicates the pesky creatures. TIP: You can crush these up and distribute in your yard/grass. Mosquitos love moist places and we think it really worked in our backyard area, which held moisture.

Kills mosquito larva
Living in the woods with lots of damp leaves and places for water to accumulate is a mosquito birthing ground. I'm a bug magnet. The two don't go well together. These are a must for my small pond (even though it has has small fountain - moving water is supposed to discourage mosquitos & three wonderful frogs!) and the bird water feeders. We have a large covered water barrel for catching rain water from the gutters, but the top is recessed enough for water to lie there after a heavy rain. It is located right below where the outdoor water facet is located and every time I have to turn on the hose I'm horrified by all the larva swimming in that small amount of water. I broke off a 1 inch piece of this dunk and the next day checked & nothing was moving in that water! Now I place a small piece in anything that tends to collect water! Anything that can help discourage the production of mosquitos & works has my vote. This product does work! They have increased in price, but some things are worth the money.

Gets rid of mosquitoes & nothing else
For years we haven’t had a problem with mosquitoes until the neighbors left their flat roofed house for assisted living and a swamp forms on top every spring. I just throw one of these on top of the old house and most of the problem is eliminated. They use an organic method that only affects the mosquito larvae. I put them in our fountains, birdbaths, even puddles. Easy to use and can be broken into smaller pieces.

Difficult packaging
I cannot yet speak to the efficacy of this product, but I found the packaging to be bulky and difficult to open. The backing tore into tiny pieces when trying to remove each dunk. VERY FRUSTRATING. I hope that they work well to make the effort worthwhile. I was unable to find my usual "mosquito torpedoes" that I put into the bottom of my outdoor flower containers which are smaller, harder, and do not create "dust." These dunks had to be broken into quarters according to the guide, which much like the difficult packaging seemed to create more "dust" which it advises to avoid.

It works like it said it should.
This stuff actually works. I know it was wrong for me to allow so many mosquitoes to grow in my water cooler for so long before buying this, but I had to get that bum out of my yard, like I said on my youtube video. Farro WifeBut soon as he stop sleeping in my yard, because he could not take the mosquito infestation, I dropped two of these in my water cool, full of rain water I catch to water my plants. Those babies that be moving in the water were dead in a few hours. After a day or so, I no longer see the parents flying around either. No bum, no mosquitoes, my life is a much happier place now.Thank you for a product that works like you said it would.Sincerely,Farro WifeThe comedian
