Core, Wounding and Wound Metal: 1st, 2nd & 3rd strings are on Swedish Steel Round Core; 4th, 5th & 6th strings are on high carbon HEX core for PB and 80/20. The HEX core is made of a six-sided high carbon steel. They are tightly wrapped by our round-wound strings made of 92% copper and 8% tin for PB strings, and 80% copper and 20% zinc for 80/20 strings. The Effect of our round-wound strings on HEX core creates an evenly tight contact between the core and the wound wire, ensuring consistent tune throughout the length of the strings. Gauge & Manufacturing: Our light gauge strings are unique in the market. They are chosen for pro quality sound and treated to prevent corrosion.
