Q: Any way to tell the wattage like the older model?

The new V3 model does not show wattage, but it can be calculated as volts x amps.

Q: Can this device also calculate and display how much data is being transmitted?

No. It monitors voltage and amps through it but not data.

Q: Does the meter log current and voltage data?

If by logging you mean send it to a file to keep a historic record, no. It just shows the current consumed voltage and current, as well as a total consumed current since it was last reset.

Q: Will this keep a usb powerbank's outputs enabled? i'm powering a low-current, non-usb load, and my powerbank turns itself off...

According to the product description, it has a parasitic drain of about 13mA to run its circuitry. That should be enough to keep some DC adapters awake. Not sure if the 13mA rating is with LED on or off, but when the LED auto-shuts off, you can shine a light into the LCD display and see that it's still working with no load. Long story short, I've noticed that my small smart DC adapters stay energized when the PortaPow is plugged in even with no load (including USB cables) but have to assume that threshold currents would vary depending on the powerbank.
