Swann Communications PRO600 Multipurpose Security Camera - Model# SW224HBC

I liked this camera very much because it has the versatility of being able to mount from the top or bottom of the camera frame. It has one wire from the back of the camera that breaks into two for the connections. The Extra 60 feet of wire is also one wire aside from where the connections are and is nicely wound on a cord wrap. Very easy to install and hook up. The low light sensor for night vision is somewhat sensitive though and it switches to night vision a little early for my taste. Night vision, however, is really good and can easily see a good distance (40 to 60 feet). This unit is well worth #125.00. Definitely worth the money.

This is a good camera but it doesn't have a good mounting bracket. I'm constantly having to adjust it because it keeps sagging. I'm not sure what would correct the problem but I'm debating on switching the bracket so that it mounts on the top and not the bottom.

Best camera for the money in my experience so far. I have purchased upward of 30 cameras for several diy security systems between home and two work locations, with many disappointments. I was looking for a better quality camera and I had read about these in a forum. Purchased just one of these at first and was shocked at just how nice the picture is and the area of view it covered. The image was much cleaner then i was used to. The night vision was also a vast improvement over the other cameras I had been using. So I began purchasing these cameras for everything besides the ptz's. For that I also went with swann with great results, but that would be a different review.
