Great game for small groups
I am so excited to have my own copy of this game. I borrowed a copy to play with my first graders this week and they loved it, so I ordered it immediately. I have a group of lower second graders who will get something out of it too, but it looks like it will be best for later kindergartners and first graders. I also bought the phonics and have others on my list.

Fun little card game for number recognition
Four Score is a fun, card game that can be played with the whole family!I’m homeschooling my grandson in Pre-K and number recognition (1-20) is one of the standards. This little card game has each player try to get four of a kind. But, the numbers are written in four different ways: number, word, tally marks, and ten square. The object of the game is to collect all four cards of one number. The box contains 80 playing card, numbers 1-20 with four cards of each number. At first we are going to start playing the game with just numbers 1-5, then we will increase the cards as he learns each number.Great little game that reinforces many of the skills that he’s been learning this year.

Easy but fun game for families or groups
I like this game because it's a good tool for showing the different ways numbers can be displayed. So kids can have fun playing but they are also learning at the same time. You need at least 3 players and you can also play with up to 20 players which is nice if you have a large family or get together with a big group of friends. The gameplay itself is simple as you get 4 cards and you are trying to get a matching set of the same number. Say for example you are collecting the number 9. You would need the card that spells the word nine, the card that shows the number (9), the card with the hashmarks equaling nine, and the card with the blocks equaling nine. You keep passing cards around and the first person to collect the set, wins. The game is probably best suited for kids ages 6+ but it really depends on the child. It's an easy but fun game, particularly if you have a decent amount of people as you can pass the cards quickly and that usually leads to a lot of laughing.

Great for number recognition
My son is 6 years old and has trouble with number recognition so I got this to try to help him recognize numbers. We don't play the game the way it's supposed to be played but we just try to match the numbers. It's too soon to tell whether it's helping. I like that it's easy to learn how to play or make your own game.

Fast-paced and fun! We love it!
Our children love this game. It is a lot of fun and unlike other games is faster paced so it holds their interest and keeps the mood light. An excellent learning tool that comes in disguised as a game. I love teaching them like this when they enjoy the experience so much.5 stars!

Tons of fun!
This is such a fun game. If you've ever played Spoons, it's similar to that but instead of getting 4 identical cards, you try to get 4 of the same number, written or shown in different forms. You can have up to 20 players but for less, you just use as many 4 group cards as you have players. Then, each player sits in a circle and each player starts by passing one of their non matching cards to the next player. The point is to get 4 matching cards first to be the winner. You can only have 4 cards in your hand at a time, though, in order to be fair. It's a ton of fun and a good way to get students use to looking at different ways to show the same number.

Easy to learn, quick and so fun!
This game is so fun! I played with my 8 and 10 year old sons, and grandma (so 4 of us - this matters as the deck size used depends on number playing). It was so easy to pick up, and goes very fast (each hand just a couple minutes). We laughed and laughed. We did try to have my 6 year old play, but he couldn’t quite read the words so that didn’t work (but could be used as a learning tool!)). My kids liked it as they said there weren’t many rules to learn or complicated parts. I think this would be even funner with a larger group, as you’d use more cards.
