Religious Persecution
I took a heavy sigh after reading this book. It depicts the experience of an ordinary man, a simple Malayalam College teacher who suffered unexplained tragedy without doing any sin or crime. I wondered whether I am living in a democratic and secular country or not? . It reveals the fact that how cruel and selfish are our revered priests and bishops. It also reveals the fact that some of our Leaders in Higher educational institutions ( Principals) are so selfish, coward and heartless . They simply behave like Judes or Pantios Pilot just to keep their position and power. In this case, some of these men cannot escape from curses of thousands of people, who sympathize for prof. Joseph's sufferings. Its a lesson to all people of Kerala, When you are in good position, religion supports you because it needs your money and talents,When you are in trouble, they simply reject you, they will throw you into the den of cruel Lion . They will witness and enjoy all sorts luxuries while lion cuts you into pieces. One need not be religious to become spiritual. Most of the religious people are not Spiritual. Be Spiritual but not religious.

He loved his profession 100% (must read)
A must read book for every malayali. Depicts how drastic a life can turn when govt system deliberately turn blind eye for backing extremism to hang in false democracy. Pity for syro malabar church. When they're too busy finding ways to support new born frankos, no wonder when they backstab an innocent, it's easiest thing they can do. Respect Joseph maash.. Legendary humour ❤️ (Read the book to know many udayips like- father Raju Jacob alias manuel pichalakat etc etc)

great book
I bought this book out of curiosity.Found to be well written and very readable. Vey moving book, depicting disgraceful injustice done to an earnest well meaning teacher. Exposes the dangerous and rotten underbelly of the nexus between politics and organised religion in a supposedly civilised and humane state of kerala.
