Exactly as described, and well-made...but it looks a little weird
A nice, well thought-out and well made hat. So what’s the problem? I just don’t like the looks. I ordered the Osprey specifically for the narrow brim on the sides, for kayaking, and for the stiff visor. In use, though, the sides don’t provide much protection (the company warned of this; I ignored it) and the inflexible visor looks exactly like those warped, factory-tattered straw cowboy hats that were popular a few years ago.Don’t let this discourage you from buying from Shelta. The hat is good for the price and should last a long time. Just be sure it’s what you want.

Perfect sun hat!
Love this hat, comfortable and light, and the bill does not droop a bit. The multi-function lanyard loop is great, you can pretty much configure any way you like.

Awesome hat!!! Does the job and looks very cool.
I have been going back and forth about buying the hat because paying $75 for it seemed to be a little ridiculous. I will say I have other hats similar that I paid around $25. The only problem with that purchase was that I wasted $25. This hat is awesome!!!! The fit, style, and look is different and to me it looks great.Bottom line is spend the $75 because to me it’s worth it and it stands out in a positive manner and does exactly what is suppose to do.Note: the front part of the brim is stiff while the sides are flimsy which is great.

Great purchase.
Ordered this after doing some research on functional hats for extreme sun, heat, and bad weather. I do a lot of running/training outside in southern Louisiana heat, and this looked interesting. Haven’t had it that long, but it has really exceeded expectations. It seems to be very high quality, and intelligently designed. Everything has a purpose, and I can’t really find a fault with it. After seeing the quality of the Osprey, I ordered the Seahawk for a bit more coverage when outdoors for longer periods. I’d highly recommend either.

Unattractive Hat
I really wanted to like this hat. I was intrigued by the UV protection and it appeared to have a nice style to it. After receiving it I found that I didn't like the styling at all and the price for this hat is very high for what you receive.

Very nice
I bought this hat because I drive an RZR forest vehicle. The RZR has no windshield or windows. When riding the wind would blow off all my other hats. This hat I believe will stay on my head. I have not as yet been able to use it to find out for sure. Quality is great.

No flop brim is a game changer
My husband loves this. The material is lightweight, there’s ventilation and the craftsmanship is superb… but the brim is the game changer. It stays up, like there’s a piece of plastic inside the front “bill”. It’s not a Gillian hat.

Great Hat
The hat is a little different looking but I like it very much. I ordered the M/L size based on the sizing information provided, and it fits perfectly. I like the fact that the drawstring can be worn multiple ways and is removable. I live in FL, so I needed a hat that has a brim but had not found one I liked until this one. I highly recommend this hat.
