HiPad CPB01 Reusable 9.8" x 6" Cold Pack w/Joint Wrap

I purchased this item before I had a total knee replacement. Once home from the hospital, you must continue your exercises while the knee is healing. This cold pack is ample enough to go around an entire knee even when the knee is swollen. The cold pack is place in the freezer or fridge and when ready to use, is inserted into a compartment on the wrap, and then placed on the knee. There are velcro straps which hold the wrap firmly in place.The only thing I am not pleased with is that the cold pack doesn't freeze, it remains soft and the cold doesn't last that long. Luckily for me I have two of these cold packs that can be used interchangeablyin the wrap to extend the cold needed to do the job. The entire product is well made and durable. After three months I am still using it.

I use it on my left foot. I have severe nerve pain through my heel and the outer part of my foot. This is flexible and stretchable enough to maneuver it into a position to cover both areas without freezing the parts I have proper feeling in. My only complaint is that I warms up too quickly.

This was perfect for keeping ice on my broken foot in the location I needed it to stay on. You can use other ice packs/gel packs in it as well; you do not have to just use the one that came with it.

This does not stay attached around the knee. The straps are not attached to both ends of the gel pack and don't hold the gel pack against the knee.

Have not used it yet but looking it over after it arrived it will work well. Looks like a solid product.

I hurt my knee last week and a friend recommended this product for the eventual rehab. The inside only has mesh between the cold pack and my skin and I personally find that a bit too cold, but stuffing in a thin cloth makes all the difference. Others here have reported that it's not cold enough, but it's plenty cold enough for me. I also have plastic icepacks for coolers that I've been able to put into the mesh pocket and stay cold much longer, although they are hard -- that's most useful while in bed. The wrap does keep it in place, which is helpful.The only real ding (and the reason for the loss of a star) is that this should come with extra gel packs so I can rotate them, since they don't seem to be available for separate purchase.

I bought this to use on my elbow. I had another, good ice pack to use so I wasn't so concerned about the pack that came with this, but you should know that for anyone who is really used to icing anything, this pack isn't going to do the job. It's nice that it is flexible and can form to the joint, but it doesn't get cold enough or stay cold for long enough.As for the wrap itself, it's soft, stretchy, and the velcro can stick to any part of it. Great for icing just about anything you need. Like I said I use it for my elbow but I think it would be even better for knees. The inside has a mesh sleeve that the ice pack fits in, so you can change out a better ice pack if you have one (or a bag of frozen peas!) The wrap, which is what I bought this for, is a good buy!

This is a highly effective way to ice a joint, in my case my knees. I bought 4 extra gel packs to easily switch out as they take a while to rechill. The 2 straps allow you to secure it with just the right amount of pressure so I can actually take a few steps without it falling. This is the smartest design for a joint ice pack and believe me I have tried many.

Habe das Produkt ungefähr 5mal benutzt. Danach ist das Kühlpad gerissen und die blaue Flüssigkeit ist das Bein runtergelaufen.Die Halterung ist ganz gut. Mal schauen ob ich ein anderes Kühlpad finde was reinpasst.

Great cold transfer, Great wrapping... but the pack doesn't like to be used (ordered 2 and they both exploded after ~10 uses)
