Although they are the same shape, they are approximately 1/8" larger than the filter housing so the cover will not properly seat. I'm sure with a combination square and utility knife they'll be okay though. Another issue I've had is with cleaning them. I typically clean with hot water and dishwashing soap, rinse, squeeze out as much water as possible then clip them to my shop fan to dry. However, after using this process on the first one, it began to shed an unusual amount of fiber; something I didn't have with the OEMs. I guess for the price they are considered disposable.

These filters fit the air intake on my Poulan Pro PP3516AVX. The filters that come with common repair kits for this saw won't quite fit. The filters seem to be of good quality and to filter correctly.

I really like these, I buy a lot of carburetors for chainsaws and they come with filters, but they never fit right. These do, they fit perfectly. Would definitely recommend, and I’ll definitely be buying again.
