Q: Does it go out off shape after long use?

The pillow holds it's shape well with daily use. Some slight compression might occur over time. If this happens simply toss it in the dryer to fluff the foam and you will be amazed how the foam is reconstituted. I love this pillow.

Q: How do you get rid of the nasty smell? I’ve washed the cover but it’s from the foam.

I don't feellike mine has any special smell to it, but you can put a dryer sheet in your pillowcase for a nice scent.
