UPDATE: Nansii responded to my question about the sound stuttering:"DTS and DD need to use with 4K TV can be stable use. "This can't be right because the sound goes from the Q-Box to the receiver. Technically, I don't need ANY TV to hear the movie's audio.Original review:I've always had buffering issues with Kodi streaming local content. I've tried many different devices and tweaks, but streaming from my NAS always stuttered.This device, however, has no buffering problems when streaming locally. However, there are two problems with the box:1 - Every few seconds the sound drops out for a split second. This happens on both DD and DTS. It also happens whether I'm using HDMI or optical.2 - 3-D video only plays in 2-D. This issue happens with both MoviePlayer (stock from the box) and Kodi.These two problems are also apparent when streaming from a locally attached USB stick and portable hard drive.Although I love the fact that it doesn't have buffering issues, I can't watch any of my movies.

- I take off One stars is because package includes nicely printed page asking to give 5 star rating to get free air remote. so don't like the paid review scheme there.- 2nd star is taken off because package doesn't information about remote about remote and what those additional buttons are for. i still don't know how to connect to TV.beside the above two reasons, unit seems to working just right.

This is a fantastic option for the cord-cutter. I use this in my second home as a primary source for programming. You can also use the free Android Slingbox app so I never miss a Bronco game when I'm in Arizona. I would recommend you get a 64G or 128G SD card to use with this so you don't run out of storage room. I bought with a wireless air mouse which makes control much easier than the included remote. Overall, great little box. I got rid of my cable box and have not missed it once bit.

I’ve had this box for maybe 8 months. I like it I gets the job done. BUT!!!! I only gave it 3 stars because it won’t let me update Kodi!! I mean that’s the whole reason I made the purchase is cause of KODI!! It has a button to click for updating KOdi but it always fail. So if your searching for that new version of Kodi. This ain’t it. I look online to see if I could do it myself and I found something that was saying you can update at your own risk and possibly brick the unit. I think I’m going to purchase a fire stick.

Android 5.1 sucks in comparison to 6. Also this box was full of plugins to stream illegal content which is bad for the Kodi community and I don't support vendors who pre-load those kinds of plugins. Most of them are crap anyways. Even if that is your thing, you're better off just installing the plugins you want/need because so many of them are junk.

This was a very good invetsment. I do not see any difference in the speed from a 1GB to 2GB of ram box. Both work just fine. If youdo not have the money for the 2GB box, 1GB of ram will work just as good.

I actually like all the options but upon trying to connect to LiveTV via Kodi found out it has none of the PVR and Back End required to acquire LiveTV and when i went to enable LiveTV the message said it's not an option. I got this for LiveTV to dispense with Cable.Other than that all te rest of the streamed programs are great!

Great product. IF. YoU. ARE. TECH. ORIENTED. I Have 2 of these. If you understand "repositories and video add-ins and skins and configuration", then this is SUPER buy. BUT, In my opinion, All of these Kodi boxes are NOT a "User Friendly" box like Amazon Fire TV. Better to buy an Amazon Fire tv and 'Side-Load', Kodi into fire tv box after you put Amazon Fire TV into developer mode.Once your configured and comfortable, you could be like me and I use mine constantly, but not without effort. Included Manual? Impossibly small type and printed in near invisible light grey so forget about included manual. Remote is acceptable BUT not great, but a BlueTooth keyboard with mousepad built in (about $20), or you will be frustrated quickly entering url's.
