This impact driver is 'different' than any other I have used. You have to turn and set it, to work properly. (Others I have used, you just twisted whichever way you wanted the screw to turn.) This is probably why some reviewers had problems with it. But after experimenting with it, I find it works just fine. I really like the soft grip, and there is a hand protector also. I haven't broken any bits yet. But frankly, I don't care about that. If the bits fail, I know where to get more. The tool itself is what matters. And it seems fine.

Easy to use works well,and is worth buying

This is a remarkable tool all encased in a containers that houses numerous impact tensile strength attachment for removing fastners. Great buy at the right price.

The red handle never stayed in place, and the head attachment was not secure due to not having the indents inside the shaft for the securing ball. This made the whole tool feel like a Childs toy. not only that, after only 2 brake jobs against the screws that are used to secure some rotors, one of the Philips bits broke and the other one started warping right after swapping out. I don't expect the bits to last forever, but they broke way too fast. It doesn't help the tool did not feel like it wanted to rotate on impacts, making it feel like I was just hammering on the bit.Overall bad build. I would recommend a different design.

A screw that had been in a very long time could not be broken loose but screws are extra hard to remove.

Very helpful tools

The box it comes in is damaged on two corners, the item itself looks like it was previously used and is bent, and the head doesn't turn so this is totally useless.Not only did it not work as advertised, it actually managed to make the head of the screw 10x worse so now I have to spend a fortune getting the screw drilled out and replacing the part I wanted to unscrew.
