Q: Can you feed this to mealworms and insects eating plants?

I would say absolutely. I use this product for my Dubia roaches and I sprinkle a few in my tarantula enclosure so the dubias running around in there have something to eat. It's a harder gel, not the consistency of jello. It has a melon scent. My dubias have grown HUGE eating this stuff. Faster than I would've liked really. But it fattens them up pretty good. I usually drip a little water in their food dish onto the gel cubes.

Q: Can i feed these to my chameleon to hydrate and or for snacks?

I only use it for insects. I don’t know

Q: If you use this, do you still need to put a sponge of water in the cage? Or is that too much water? Trying to figure out why my crickets keep dying

I do not put any other water source, but I do put in cricket chow and an occasional fresh, sliced apple

Q: Is there any pieces that are left over after feeding to mealworms?

Probably, I use it to feed dubia roaches and what sint ate usually just dries and shrivels up. They don't mold in the enclosure, but the container should be refrigerated after opening.
