Beautiful display. Heafty price.
First thing. When I originally received and setup this photo display I was made to feel like an ass because unfortunately Lenovo had some internal server issues going on that this a expensive demo model hanging on my wall 😑 for about two weeks. Thankfully though the issue was taken care of the day I decided to start the return process (go figure) and I was able to get it setup and going. Needless to say the frame is a beautiful accessory to my living room and makes it worthwhile everytime family comes over and sees memorable moments show up. To be honest though seeing as how you can get a Google home max or Lenovo smart display for the same price or even cheaper and they come with more functionally I wouldn't suggest this as a must have. All of that said if you have the extra money to spend or you just want one cause your a Lenovo enthusiast like myself by all means get it while you can. Like I said it is a beautiful home accessory.

It's a tough setup
Before I discuss the actual product I'd like to talk about the shipping and the supplier. The first one to arrive was packed into a box with about one inch of air space all around and no cushioning. So it was free to bang around inside the box (outer box). And the box looked like it had done a lot of banging around. When opened, it appeared to me that the unit had been opened and was not brand new. I sent it back. The second one had slightly better cushioning, but the box product box looked like it had been shipped from China in the hold of an oil tanker. Places where stickers had been removed and left sticky residue, scuffed up box, etc. These are coming from a third party in Oregon, and I have my doubts that they aren't returns of some sort. Not a single page of documentation accompanied the product, and that's another reason why I think it had been in someone else's hands. Should have sent it back, but my project had already been delayed. It took a bit of effort, but I did get it mounted. Trying to find information on Lenovo's website is a joke. They didn't even recognize the serial number. This product is clearly a low priority for them.Someone in a review said that this frame is not for the technologically impaired. That's for sure. I did finally get it lit up, and dialed into my somewhat dodgy internet. Because the images I want to upload are not my images, but are from a second party, I have not figured out how that is going to work. I think I'll get it figured out eventually. The images that come with the frame are indeed gorgeous. There should be much better documentation with the product and on the website. If you make it work, it's a lovely addition to your wall.

As of March 2022, still best value for it’s size
There’s a lot of poor reviews on this product and the reason is: technologically inept people. Folks…this is a smart frame that connects to your google photos album to display photos (they make that clear upfront). If you don’t know what google photos is, this isn’t for you. If you don’t know how to set up a simple app on your phone, this isn’t for you. If you’re the kind that loses your password to your google account and you cannot enter it on the Lenovo app, then look elsewhere. However, assuming that you’re not completely incompetent, this is the absolutely BEST value for your money. Picture is sharp, frame appearance is modern, and hanging apparatus is cleverly designed. We bought two to hang side by side. I only have two things to critique: if you have more than one frame hanging side by side and set at the same frequency of change, they don’t change at the exact same millisecond. Also, I would have appreciated Lenovo leaving their branding off of the side of the Grey frame

This Product is Obsolete
I received the product and it looked like the box was old. This was not a big deal to me so I proceeded to unbox and install. Once you turn on the digital picture frame the screen displays install "Lenovo Smart Frame" from your smart phone. I tried looking for the app to install but couldn't find it. So I went to my PC to see if I can download/share the link, I found it and shared the link to my phone. When I click the link to download the app it states "This app isn't available for your device because it was made for an older version of Android.". My phone is 2 years old (Pixel 6). See screenshot for reference. If there is no way to download the app and add photos to the Lenovo Smart Frame, it's basically useless. I was so excited to have several of these frames at home but very disappointed the product is basically obsolete. I am surprised it's even for sale because it will not work without an app you can install. In summary do NOT buy this product for there is no way to make this device work as of Sept 2023.

Tremendous Value for Money
Its very hard to find 20-30 digital frames, and this is fantastic for the price (without going up to the neural or the Samsung frame TV). It’s not the most stunning, oled quality screen, but it’s really good for the price! I personally think it’s as good as the meural canvas for half Very easy to setup, install and load photos to.

Works great when it works but there are some quirks - can't handle large albums on Google Photos
Picture quality on the frame is great but the software that operates the frame leaves a lot to be desired. Unfortunately, it looks like Lenovo discontinued this product and stopped supporting it so don't look like any software updates are coming. Anyways, the frame still works but if you have a large number of photos in one album, the frame's memory gets overloading and you get an error and no photos will be displayed. To resolve, you have to delete the album and restart the frame. I've figured to make several smaller albums instead with no more than 500 photos and that seems to work better.

Big fan. Looks incredible.
I’ve actually got a second one of these on order now. Only thing that’s not my favourite is the power lead running up the wall, but as we redesign our kitchen I’ll ensure there is a power point installed deep enough to accommodate this. Don’t overly use the hand gesture ability, but like it as a feature. We are constantly adding photos to the associated Google album we’ve made, keeping things new and fresh.
