it is a good book, but it should included more detailed information.

Read the book is a delightful moment, however I prefer more in deep details more technical. I expect to see more details in next editions. It would be better to use pure CentOS images not Linux Mint ( it is offensive ).

The writing is decent, the main thing is it's just so short and not in depth. It's more like a few hastily written blog posts strung together into a "book". If it cost $0.99 it would be what I'd expect and I'd give 4 or 5 stars. I paid $35 for the kindle though! Had to return it. Just absolutely not even close to being worth it.

Decent book

Very disappointed with the breadth and scope of material covered. Poor value for money. I would not have bought this book if Amazon provided a sample chapter.

This is a great resource for key tasks in CentOS. All of the topics covered are addresses concisely and well. I gave it four stars rather than five as it could use coverage of some additional topics like software management and similar core tasks especially given it's title of "mastering". While it falls a bit short of mastery it's a great resource overall nonetheless.
