Fits 1” PVC
We use this to make an 8 foot pole of two 4 foot sections of PVC. Works great.

No leaks and easy install
This coupling saved me a lot of time and money. Installing a sump pump system in the basement I made a bad cut. Cutting the pipe too short, I felt my only option was to take everything apart and but new pieces. After some thought I started looking for something that would fill the gap and ran across this. I installed in in less than 5 min. Hand tightened and no leaks. The only prep I did was to clean the pipe where this was to be installed. Just a tiny bit tricky sliding on the rubber o-ring type pieces but no big deal. I was truly amazed that by just gently hand tightening these I had no leaks. I was really expecting to have to get a tool on it. This was perfect for 1" PVC. Don't listen to the comments regarding being a bad fit or leaking. Great invention and really saved my rear.

Good quality but not what I expected
If you are a DIYer beware of sizing on parts like these. I measured the diameter of my broken pipe and it was very close to 1”. This coupling was way too big to create any seal let alone a watertight one. I think this may have to do with actual pipe sizes vs their dimensions that don’t match up. Would ask the manufacturers to be more clear on this with a sizing guide. I now believe my 1” pvc pipe is officially called 3/4” but have no idea which coupling will fit.

Same as the box store brands and actually was in stock.
It was made in China, but so was all the local stuff. I didn't buy locally because they either thought it was gold or mostly wasn't in stock.

Junk - will not hold any pressure
Used to try to fix a broken irrigation line. Seemed to hold strong on install but couldn’t hold pressure for more than10 sec. Waste of time and $$. Do not use to try to fix irrigation systems.
