I read this series when I was a boy. Have a 12-year-old grandson whom I'm trying to get more interested in reading. He loved it! Mission accomplished.

Nice book to read for people who are looking for an adventure .

As I remembered from my youth, exciting story. Book excellent condition.

My son loved this. Remember loving these books as a kid myself and although some of the ideas are a bit old-fashioned and unPC the stories are still brilliant (kids seem happy to accept that people's attitudes and behaviour were different 60 odd years ago and that we do things differently these days).The story itself is full of adventure, interesting animals and animal facts, bad guys, challenges, humour and suspense.

I bought this book for my grandson, it was a favorite series of mine as a youngster right around 5th grade. I highly recommend it, and all the other "adventure" series by the same author. For those who don't know the series, it's the tale of two brothers who travel the world, learning about every adventure you can imagine, volcanoes, the Amazon, the elephants of Africa. Sure beats the Hardy boys!
