So far so good
Plugged in to my TF101 and worked right away. Initially I connected a hub with a USB keyboard and mouse to it, but I had intermittent problems with it (mouse clicks weren't always recognized, frequently keystrokes would be missed or repeat infinitely until I pressed another key). I then disconnected the mouse from the hub, and the keyboard worked flawlessly in the few minutes of testing. I will keep playing with it to figure out what the issue is.As reviews for the original Asus OEM adapter have pointed out, this one too sticks out a fair way from the tablet, plus it forces me to flip the tablet upside down so the port is on top. I've broken other USB adapters that stick out too far (for example, a Wifi adapter sticking out of a netbook), so I plan to be very careful using this adapter to not break it or the tablet's port. As such, I think this will be just for occasional use of a keyboard or thumb drive, but I may get the actual docking keyboard if I'm going to be using a keyboard/mouse more regularly with my tablet.

Works, but....
Purchased this to run my camera from an Asus TF300. It works.Good:* USB 3.0 - Connected an external USB 3.0 hard drive to the tablet. Was recognized and mounted. Speed seemed faster than when connected to USB 2.0 ports in keyboard dock.* PriceBad:* Poor design. Bulky. Easily disconnected from tablet. Don't know how this could be corrected (given they are stuck with Asus' connector).* Does NOT work when plugged into keyboard dock. I was hoping that I could plug into keyboard dock, and have USB 3.0 and OTG for camera - and then detach tablet from keyboard doc when not connected to camera. I assume this is because of the design of the keyboard dock - likely doesn't pass through all of the connections necessary.* I always connect USB device to this dongle - then place into tablet. This just "feels" better - like its less likely to cause the dongle to break off in the tablet.

Great for adding a USB port, but would be easier to use if it were implemented as a dongle
Does its job perfectly, but would be far easier to use if it were a dongle. Even though the device is quite small, it adds bulk to one side of the tablet and with the addition of a USB memory stick or card reader, becomes too heavy to support its own weight, thereby requiring the tablet to be laid flat on some surface to prevent damage to the port. The simple solution is to just use a short USB cable between the adapter and your USB device, but it would be nice if the adapter had been designed that way to begin with.

Follow-up to my previous review of this product
This follow-up to my previous review of the OTG 40-pin adapter for Asus Transformer Infinity acknowledges theprompt seller response with a replacement or refund offer. In addition, I need to state that their product workedfine electrically, allowing me to connect either flash memory or USB 3.0 hard disk drive to my Asus TransformerInfinity tablet. Because of the mechanical problem (very hard to disconnect adapter from tablet) I chose to havemy purchase price refunded, which the seller and Amazon handled expeditiously.

Does what it says
This is basically, a "Go cable" adapted to the unfortunate 40-pin connector on the Transformer. It adapts that wide plug to a high-speed USB to connect a keyboard, or thumbdrive.I wish it had a loophole on it to tether it to a cable or otherwise attach it to something, and the "cap" that covers the 40-pin connector for storage is prone to loss for the same reason -- no mechanism for attaching it.But hey, it's cheap and it works.

Works great
Works great when plugged into a flash drive or powered external drive. When you plug in a non-powered external, the hard drive just clicks due to lack of power.I gave it 3 stars because they could have integrated a charge port on the side, or even made this adapter into a small cable less likely to fall out of the port.

Lured in by the cheap price...
Lured in by the cheap price, but getting what I'd paid for... well you'd expect it to actually fit. Almost immeadiatly upon opening it I started to become suspicious. The end that is to plug into the unit was shaped with a countour that did not look like it was going match the transformer prime. As I go to plug it in, sure enough do to this contour it doesn't plug in far enough to engage, very frustrating! However at the price, really, it would cost me more to go through the pains of arranging to send it back. So, for my less than $10 I enjoyed flattening it with a hammer. Don't waste your time or money ...

Must have accessory!!
You can never have too much storage and this adapter makes it easy to connect additional storage memory cards to your tablet. I had some initial trouble but I soon learned that you have to connect your card reader to the otg adapter prior to connecting it to the tablet. Once you have connected the adapter the tablet reads it immediately as an external drive and once you have finished using it, you just unmount it like a microsd card in the tablet via settings. I have not yet tried this with an usb accessory like mouse or keyboard but it has been reported that it works fine.
