Q: Does anyone know how to get the spikes to stay out like in the pictures, also once put together can the bey be taken apart?

To get the spikes out you must make the beyblade go really fast and then they should pop out

Q: Are instructions in English?

The instructions was not in english it was in japanese.

Q: Is it a legit beyblade?

Yes, the launcher (maybe other parts, but this is visible) is stamped with the Tomy copyright. This is just the Korean product. Which means all the instructions are also in Korean 🙃
