Q: Why is pro plus priced higher?

Higher quality stand; has both long & std arms for keyboard support, and has a mic boom adapter with mic boom. The carrying case is nice too

Q: Can you tilt V bars down (keyboard supports)?

No you can't. Once they click into position and cannot be moved unless you want to remove the bars.

Q: can you add a third tier to this stand easily?

Yes you can. You need another bracket and two arms. You can get the arms in two different sizes so you might want to call the company and get the correct sizes for what you plan on putting on them.

Q: Are correct the product dimensions (10x10x10 inchs)?

I have this model but have no idea. When the arms and legs are deployed it certainly is NOT 10x10" on the base, it's MUCH bigger than that. Fully collapsed it is smaller than 10x10 and the height remains the same (the central core pole). I use it in my home. I have had two significant issues with it and plan on reverting back to a more stable stand. I have used this stand for almost two years (or longer I think) and the arms that hold the lower keyboard are constantly getting loose -dropping a bit, or allowing the keyboard to become a bit unstable. Also, the legs are located right where I want to put sustain and operational pedals and I've had to do a pedal dance that is not intuitive. I guess this stand would be good for the traveling gig - no doubt - but for a semi-permanent installation it's unacceptable.
