Design Toscano Gothic Roundabout Steel Garden Bench

I have to say I was a bit worried because some of the reviews made it sound like there were concerns about the bolt holes aligning properly, but my wife really wanted this bench for her birthday. When I went to put it together, I quickly realized that while the legs appear to be the same forward and back, there is a slight difference and if you put the legs on so that the “inner” part is facing ourward, it will not line up 100% properly. The difference is so minute, I can see where people THINK the holes were machined improperly. They were machined fine...I just had to take my time and make sure I had the legs facing the right way. Now, here is one more thing to consider: while the diameter of the center hole was enough to fit around our Autumn Blaze Maple tree, the one thing I did not consider was that the roots on our tree protrude up all around the base of the tree. There was no way to position my bench where a leg or two was not sitting direction on a root, causing the other legs to “float” 8 inches off the ground. What did I do? I went to a local plant nursery and had them plant a new tree, so my wife could have the bench she wanted. Not the manufacturer’s fault....just God throwing me a curve ball. In the end, it all worked out.

I like this bench very much. Looks nice and was easy to put together. I wishbit was a little bit more heavy duty. But for the cost it is well built...

A solid well made, sturdy, classy looking bench for a good price.

Very disappointed. It showed up in two large boxes. Upon opening them I found that the screws & nuts were scattered throughout one box. Apparently the screws were in a small bag that had a large slit in it. Worst of all, there was NO assembly instructions in either box. I called BigFly, who sold it thru Amazon. I spoke with a person who identified herself as a 'manager'. She was very ambivalent, and told me that she would not help me because I was upset on the phone. So, I managed to assemble it without instruction or help from BigFly by carefully looking at the product picture on Amazon. I had to use my own tools because the wrench that I found in the bottom of the box was too small and would not fit the screw nuts. So, overall the product not very well made and over-priced. It is poorly packaged, and you're on your own finding the parts and figuring out how to assemble it. And, you get NO customer service if you have any issues. Definitely not worth the price or the aggravation.

I love the bench, however after only having it outside for 2 weeks, it is already showing signs of rust.

Sturdy; easy to assemble.

Had to go and purchase new correct sized bolts.In just a few weeks the bench is rusting. Next year will have to replace.Regret the purchase!It looked good at first.
