Smart dimmer
These are easy to install, easy to link up to Smartthings and work quite well.

So far, so good! No Neutral, Fits Smaller Switch Box
This was to replace a series of attempts at front-porch illumination automation. I tried mechanical timers, electronic timers, and smart bulbs, but nothing seemed to work for long. The issue with the bulbs was probably my aluminum siding doing bad things to the signal from the hub. I figured if the signal doesn't have to go through the exterior wall, we may have a winner. Installation was a snap, no "neutral" required, and fit in the ancient old-work box, all good in my old house. I believe this could work on knob-and-tube. Another bonus is that a guest may just hit the switch to turn on the lights without screwing up the program. Time will tell.

Worked like a charm
If I was not able to add some extra functions into these with home assistant automation I would knock it more than one star. But really this is a good choice. It has a simple function set when compared with the Inovelli switches which are the only other real option for z-wave non-neutral. These have just worked a bit better. Less flickering on max brightness and less dim LEDs on low.I do have to set the brightness between 84~92 to get my Aux switches to work. It seems to depend a lot on what LED bulbs I'm using; but, overall I'm quite happy with these and it will be my switch going forward for my non-neutral house lights.

Solves the No Neutral Dilemma
This is my 2nd purchase of this switch. I have had it working for about 6 months without issue. It solves the few situations where I don't have a neutral.Easy to install, and configure in Home Assistant. I enjoy using the features to create the double and triple tap to create virtual actions.

Simple, effortless install and sync with Z-wave hub.
One of the easiest installs especially for those pesky old light fixtures (and wiring) where it's just a hot and and a return line. The only caveat is that the body of the switch isn't small like some other switches, so you might find that it could end up a bit cramped especially in an older switch box.

Great for Smartthings as a Dimmer- no neutral required
I had my previous version of the GE smartthings switch die after about 7 years, so I saw this as a replacement. It was easier to install- no neutral wire required- and synced immediately with smartthings. Would absolutely purchase again.

Not really functional
I want to like this product because it is one of the few that support no-neutral installs. Unfortunately, it is not working for me.I installed the switch according to the instructions. The lights it is controlling have 24 four watt LED bulbs for a total of 96 watts, well below the 300W LED load rating (it is rated for 600W incandescent). When I turn the switch on it ramps from off to full power in rapid small steps. So far so good. However, just as it reaches full power the lights blink once (off, on, off) and stay off. Pressing the 'on' rocker repeats the cycle.I can hold the top of the rocker to manually ramp the brightness to mostly on and the switch will stay on, and then single taps on the rocker will ramp between on and off, but the lamps flicker slightly when on and will not run at full power.I tried engaging 'switch mode' so the switch does not ramp the power and instead simply switches between off and full, and it has the same problem, after turning on it blinks once and turns off.Further, the switch will not connect with my SmartThings Z-Wave hub. The SmartThings app appears to recognize the QR code on the switch, and the Embrighten brand is listed in the manual addition section but the switch will not appear in the app.So while the switch can almost turn the lights on, it's not really usable. The lights flicker annoyingly when they are on, and I cannot control the switch remotely which is necessary for my use case because it is located behind a bookshelf.

Easy to install , flawless functionality
Have installed 50+ of these switches in various configurations throughout my house , all work great . Not sure why the non neutral is so much more expensive , but great that it’s an option where needed . Love z wave

Easy to install
What I really wanted was a Z-wave switch that works without a neutral wire, but I could only find it in a dimmer option. It works well, but I would prefer a simple on-off for the application I needed the switch for.If it ever comes in a No-neutral on-off switch I would exchange out the switch where I have it.It does work well as far as No-neutral required
