Pure Encapsulations methylcobalamin is produced from corn dextrose fermentation. It has a naturally occurring red color that does not result from the use of artificial dyes or colors. Neither the capsule or liquid products contain added artificial sugars or added color. Pure Encapsulations products are non-GMO.

Q: Is this Methylcobalamin?

Yes it is. It's natural and the following explains why you should use it: Methylcobalamin differs from some other forms of B-12 because it is natural and appears to exhibit significantly greater activity, bioavailability, and absorption than its synthetic B-12 counterparts (cyanocobalamin). Synthetic forms must be converted into active B-12 in order to perform any health-promoting biological actions. This conversion process reduces nutritional efficiency, adding to the other challenges of getting sufficient B-12. B-12 absorption decreases and B-12 deficiency escalates as we grow older. In fact, approximately 15% of those aged 60 or over are likely deficient in B-12. The natural methylcobalamin form's superior bioavailability may be especially beneficial in populations who have difficulty absorbing vitamin B-12 because of advancing age or health issues.

Q: other ingredients please ??

I haven't used this product for quite awhile. As far as I remember there are no other ingredients. I used this product for my dog and it really helped her periphial neuropathy of the back legs (she was diabetic). I truly believe that this product extended her life by at least a year and a half. She was a lab-mix and weighing about 65 pounds. I feed her twice a day and injected her with insulin twice a day for over eight years. I think I put one dropper full in her food both morning and night. I hope this helps.

Easier than pills

I take a full dropper about 3-4 times a week. Before starting them last year, my PCP told me to take supplements because of how low my numbers were. Just got my labs back and now they are perfect. Taste is somewhat pleasant. Highly recommend!

It was promptly received, as promised. I've only used drops a few times but think I like sublingual.
