Prohoists Boat Kayak Canoe Carrier Dolly Cart Wheel

This cart works very well for my needs; I walk my kayak less than 2 blocks to my launching area and it's almost a breeze. I say almost because the kayak does tend to slip off the cart when it's wet. I could rectify that with rope or bungee cords easily though. I also like that I don't ever have to worry about inflating the tires. Solid tires were definitely the way to go. The cart fits perfectly in the back of my kayak, as well.

Sorry, but this is not great, or at least the one I got wasn't. Couldn't get my kayak (pelican trailblazer) to stay on while I pulled it, so I picked up the kayak and kicked the cart out of the way - it rolled down the hill 2 feet and bent - now useless. Admittedly the cart was probably not designed for hills or grassy terrain, but I thought I'd get more than 5 minutes out of it. Didn't cost too much more than buying a pair of wheels, so I"ll probably use them to engineer something.

Absolute simple design is great. I added stickier foam cradle material and a bungee and it's perfect for my 15' yak.

Kayak always slides off. Even when I use rubber (non-slip) bungie cords. The design flaw is no place to securely attach bungie cords/straps.

Oh yes, this totally exceeded my expectations and is very well-made. I'm certainly glad we didn't buy the more expensive ones that were also available online. We are not disappointed at all.

Simple, works good on gravel

Missing parts and the wheels rub on the stand. Needs longer bolts and bushings. Bad design made in China.

Just what we wanted. Light ,compact, and fits in storage compartment of kayak. Work great! If you need a carrier to transport from auto to water and back - get one.
