Impressive! Will accept Monteverde D1 refills of various colours.
These LED pens will illuminate your paper when lighting is dim, or if you need to make notes at night while your partner is sleeping. I like that the pens will accept Monteverdi D1 refills - nice in purple ink!Excellent for nursing staff who need to make notes at night and not disturb patients.Having 4 is excellent value. The ink - black - writes as smooth as silk, the pens' D1 refills are easily obtainable and batteries easily replaceable being button cell LR626 which last a long time.I'm very pleased because these 2 black and 2 red pens are comfortable in the hand and have a nice quality weight to them. Recommended!

one of them doesn't work properly
The three that work properly are fine. On one of them the light doesn't work properly, it sometime comes on, but is weak, and turns itself off after a few seconds. All can be used for writing, though.

Great pen with light
All worked used some as gifts very useful for wring in a dark room. Good quality. Happy so are those I gifted to.

Useful for writing at night without waking up your partner
The pens have a classic click on and off mechanism but switches between OFF - ON (with light) - OFF - ON (without light). It is bright enough to write easily when there is no other light source in a dark space but without casting too wide an area in light. Very pleased with them.

Luck Of The Draw
Out of 4 items in the box, on 2 worked staright away, and the other two either didnt light, lit dimmly, or flickered. Looks like they have bad connection issues. There seems no way of sorting this out as the end user, and I also cant see a way of changing a battery either. A very low quality product, that I would normally return. However as these were low cost and the cost in time of sending them back makes this to much hassle.

Not all pens work equally
Out of the 4 pens, 2 of them work very well with a bright light, the other 2 (in my case the blue ones) have very faint lights which mean you can't see enough in the dark. The light on the black ones is so bright, I have put nail varnish on the light part so it is not so blinding in the dark. As I've already done this, I can't really return the product. It's a shame they're not all equally good.

Perfect for night working
I've sat in the car too many times with not enough light to write my notes. The Interior lights always seem to have a shadow just where I'm trying to write.These pens are perfect.No idea how long they'll last but at this price as long as I get a week out of each one I'm happy
