Using the slicer takes a little practice but once accustomed to it, you can quickly and easily slice the watermelon. The slicer will cut the melon all the way into the rind, as such making very little mess. The silicone handle is very comfortable and the ability to turn the slicer around and use it to remove the slices is brilliant.

Works well for cutting from the rind. Didn't work so well for me in cubing with it, but still like it.
