I always get the brain zap with good tryptophan. This brand doesn't do that. I wake up multiple times per night after taking two capsules. It seems like a great deal, but if the product doesn't work, what good is a great price? Spend your money on the more expensive brands, the good night sleep they lull you into is worth it

I really liked the price of these 500 mg. capsules. They work as well as the other brand I was using, which wasn't available when I needed to purchase it again.

The product appears to be performing just like the much more expensive brand I was using - the only reason for the 4 stars is when I opened the jar there was no inner seal and a very strong odor. I put the lid back on and didn't use for a few days. After I went back to the container and opened there was no more odor. Not sure what that was about and it did make me a little wary.

1000ct is a great deal. Have used this brand for years. L-Tryptophan aids sleep in ~30-45 minutes, wears off in a few hours, and improves mood the following day.Combine with software like f.lux to adjust bright light exposure from screens, etc. based on schedule to fix sleep issues.

Could not think clearly when using. This was very noticeable. Could not drive.

For someone who takes 6+ caps per night, this bulk buy is a no brainer. Just remember that they work best on an empty stomach taken with 8 to 12oz of water for best consumption.

worked very well for me. Take 2 or 3 a day....one eve and one at bedtime. I took them with LThyrosine also. My Dr. told me to take the l thyrosine with it. Are you taking it for sleeping problems?Hope this helps....Ray
