Apart from slight damage incurred in shipping the cabinet arrived safely and intact. Because they did not affect the operation of the cabinet I did not bother to contact the seller.In terms of features there are a few that I like.1. assembly of the interior is very easy. I had it all put together very quickly2. Comes with 2 keys3. The ability to have all racks or rack and shelves combined is nice. Additionally, the product comes with spacers for rifles equipped with scopes and they work great.3. There are foam inserts for the floor and shelves so as to prevent scratching of your gear. The racks are made of plastic that will not scratch your guns (barrels or stocks).4. There are holes in the floor so that it can be bolted to the concrete (I keep mine in the basement). This is a very nifty security feature because it makes it that much harder to cart away.5. While not a safe (explained below), this cabinet accomplishes several key goals. The first is that it keeps all your gear in one place. Secondly, and most importantly, it keeps prying eyes and hands away. If you have kids you need a cabinet, if you have a roommate, guests, if you entertain, etc then you need a cabinet. This one has the room most people need. Also, it is sturdy enough that no house guest or child is going to get in.6. The cabinet it lightweight (relatively speaking). If you move a lot, or rent apartments up flights of stairs this is a good alternative to full-sized safes which are very expensive and dangerous to move. Also, safes may require bracing the floor below to support the weight. For example, if you are active duty military and move a lot but also require security, a lightweight solution is found in this cabinet.Drawbacks:1. This is not a safe. It does not posses the weight, fire protection, anti-tapping, nor armor protection that safes offer. Know this going in. It is a cabinet that will slow down thieves but will not stop them. A pry bar will make short work of it.2. The key has teeth on both edges (like modern car keys). However, there is a right side up which is annoying if you try to insert it the wrong side up. Not a big deal, but if you want to get inside quickly it can be something.Conclusion:I am happy with my purchase and would recommend it anyone who wants a safe place to store their guns, tools, etc but does not have the funds or place to store a full sized safe. Eventually, my wife and I will purchase a safe but until that time this serves as an acceptable alternative (way better than leaning them in the corner of the closet).

Great Gun Cabinet. It is well worth the money, and it is very functional. The big rub on this particular item from Amazon, is that when it is shipped, there is a very good chance that you are going to have a couple of dents and/or scratches when it arrives. I fully knew this when I ordered mine, and decided what I would be willing to accept, and what I would not accept. After I received my cabinet, and put it together, it become very strong and rigid as I applied the bolts and nuts to it, and also very nice looking, with a high glass black paint and gold trim stripes. I would advise people to buy the accessories, the lights and the stick-on bag for the door, this adds to the functionality of the entire cabinet. Also, take some time and buy 3M 77 all-purpose adhesive spray glue and gray felt, and line your gun cabinet, it is a time consuming and tedious process, but well worth the effort, as you will make you gun cabinet look much nicer. As we all know, this is not a safe, but unless you step up to a fire safe for around $700, I felt better with this cabinet, then some of the non-fire safes on the market. If I do buy a fire safe in the future, this gun cabinet can be easily converted to a garage utility cabinet where you can put tools, paints, and various car parts. That is where the hidden value for this cabinet is, that it is adaptable to various needs, and is a cabinet that you should own for decades, where years later you have repurposed it for other duties, and purchased a higher end fire/gun safe to place your gun in, which I would highly recommend. Again, to reiterate, very nice cabinet, very functionally, and adaptable to multiple needs, but probably will have some minor scratches and dents on it from shipping, but nothing too big. And again, get some felt, take an afternoon, and line it with the use of the 3M 77 adhesive glue, and make your cabinet even nicer. And buy the Stack on light kit and adhesive bag, and you will really have a gun cabinet that will hold your guns in a handsome and safe manner. And most of all, have fun with the personalization of the cabinet, go on YouTube, and get ideas from other people that have customized their cabinets, so that it reflects a little bit of your personality.
