No it wont cause the paper to wrinkle. I use it to adhere photos to wood and paper objects. No wrinkling and easy to work with.

Q: How do you clean the paintbrush after using this adhesive?

Mine came in a bottle and did not have a brush. It came out thru a flattened slot.

Q: will this wrinkle thin paper?

I think any glue will, so go with it I love the texture. From many years experience of it doesn't work out, change the design
