It wasn't surprising that Damn Yankees were a huge draw in the early '90s-their members included Ted Nugent, Styx's Tommy Shaw and Night Ranger's Jack Blades! This 1992 Warner Bros. LP was their second and final album, a polished piece of pop-metal featuring the #20 hit Where You Goin' Now plus Dirty Dog; Mister Please; This Side of Hell; Uprising, and more!

Great sophomore album
Damn Yankees really broke ground with their debut album and the follow is pretty darn good too. Three very different singer/songwriters equal a great brand of rock and pop with amazing vocals and harmonies. Tommy Shaw and Jack Blades sound amazing singing together or on their own and with Ted and Tommy's guitars this album is blazing hot.

Uprising Damn Yankees - perfect car tunes
Though "Don't Tread" isn't as good as the first Damn Yankees album, it is still a kick-ass recording. It is fun to listen to in the car driving on the highway. Worth a roadtrip! I love the sense of humor in the lyrics as well as the Ted improvisations. Well worth the price! Wish they would put out about ten more CDs with new tracks on them. Just can't find music worth listening to anymore.

Great CD
I wish the Damn Yankees made more CD's, their music is great! Great lineup of musicians as well.

very underrated rocker
I have start by saying that this cd is better than they're debut "DAMN YANKEES". Don't Tread has some absolute gems starting with the self titled "Don't Tread on Me" other good cuts include "Dirty Dog", "Fifteen Minutes of Fame", "Firefly" "Silence is Broken", "Mister Please", and others. The production is well done and there is plenty of melody on most of the cuts. Most important of all, it rocks. If you're looking for a hidden gem, this is the cd to get.

A good rocking record.
A good solid follow-up to their debut album. Very much on the same lines as their first release, so if you liked that you will like this. A good rocking mix of guitar and vocals.Playing time: just over 53 mins.

Don't tread on this
Second album by Yankees and great. Only came across them recently. I have much of their previous work - Styx, Nightranger and Nugent- and loved it already.
