GHIRARDELLI 100% Cacao Unsweetened Chocolate Chips for Baking, Premium Baking Chips, 8.5 OZ Bag

I've had several brands because pure cacao aka 100% dark chocolate is really hard to get. Sometimes it take a long time to get it delivered, not sure why? This last time it took 10 days but the vendor sent me 3 bags even though I only paid for one (although $15 is pretty steep for 1 bag). I'm not sure if it was a mistake or to compensate for it being delivered late, but it is appreciated. If you are a chocolate lover but vegan and healthy (no or little processed sugar) these are the ultimate hack. Imagine eating chocolate and it being healthy for you! I heat up frozen cherries and then melt about 30 chips, and it is delicious. It is a acquired taste. I share them and nobody likes them because of the bitterness, but I've been eating them for so long, I sometimes eat them by themselves.

I liked this product very much. But I'm not the typical consumer..... I'm eating the chips just as they are, mixing them with almond butter and alcohol-free vanilla extract. What can I tell ya?!-- I'm trying trying trying to limit sugar while still "enjoying" a semblance of a "treat."Try it -- if you dare! Otherwise, I'm sure they also melt and bake beautifully. There aren't that many such products without excessive and/or nauseating sweeteners.

Dark chocolate best for women. This brand one of the few best ones on a short list. I don't want added sugar. They were getting expensive till I saw this package. Can control small amount every day. Awesome ladies.you

It’s really hard to find 100% chips and these are phenomenal. Used to be carried locally but had to look online and thankfully they were carried here.

I buy these 100% chips regularly. This bag was so stale. Dry, flacky, tasted stale. Not expired but should have been AND I paid just short of 10.00 for one bag!!!

I’m currently on the keto diet and these are perfect because I get that chocolate-y goodness without all of the carbs. I added some swerve to get a bit of sweetness to it. It melted great when I made chocolate covered marzipan and solidified fairly well when refrigerated again. It did leave chocolate-y fingers when holding the dipped items, though. Overall, a delicious product that works well for dipping and baking purposes.
