Used on my Merc side steps
My side steps where looking a bit grubby (plastic aluminium look originally) so did some research as you do and found this paint which looked quite robust for the job. Choose black to go with my recently refurbished alloys so it all ties in nicely. It's like plastic when it dries. Only just done them so time will tell if it does hold up.

Good product
Very pleased and impressed at the coating it provided on my black, plastic bumper trim.Only reason for not giving a 5 star review, is not knowing how it will stand up to weather and time.

Practice first.
I’m quite impressed with this stuff. It comes with two nozzles for either light or heavy texture. I suggest you grab a piece of cardboard and have a test attempt first. I used this on a piece of plastic that I had to repair and it was so good that it was hard to tell where the repair was.
