Unbelievable power from a single cell light, a must have for anyone who remotely likes flashlights.
This light has been designed over the course of 2 years by flashlight enthusiasts from every aspect of owning a light. How they have produced this for the price is unbelievable. Even the UI (user interface) was written by a flashlight enthusiast and the whole unit brought to life by Lumintop, who make some quality lights. I firmly believe this to be a benchmark light, anyone who has even a remote interest in flashlights should most certainly have one in their collection. It comes nicely boxed in signature Lumintop brown box packaging which looks so much nicer than it sounds. Instructions, spare o-rings and the light are all well packed in Styrofoam. This is a seriously powerful item, I absolutely love it. Normally I’m not one for fancy modes, I like a light to switch on, have some options for brightness and then switch off. This does that AND so much more besides. Moonlight mode for using in pitch black to save your night vision, Lightning mode, candle mode, strobe, bike flasher, disco strobe, tactical strobe, all easily accessible once you get used to it. If you want it to be a switch on, switch off light, it can do that too, easily. Muggle mode is set from the factory so you have a powerful light, with restricted brightness so you can’t overheat it. Electronic tailswitch, almost like a mouse click is absolutely genius and so easy to use and you can easily lock the light to prevent accidental switching on in your pocket and running the battery down.Turbo mode is like nothing I’ve seen before, the amount of light this little flashlight can put out will outshine your car headlights with ease. It will light up a MASSIVE area in turbo mode, but will step down to save overheating. If you want it to, it will melt electrical tape from a few inches away. I have seen larger single AA flashlights. There are a few things you should be aware of, nothing bad though!!You need to buy the correct battery, I recommend a Samsung 18650 unprotected. The LG equivalent is also well regarded. This means you also need the correct charger, not expensive at all and well worth the few pounds extra. This is NOT a toy, this is a serious flashlight. Seriously fun but definitely not for people who only need a light to look in a dark cupboard. The customization on this is unlike anything I’ve ever seen before and I’ve had a lot of lights in my time. 2 words – lightning mode. More fun than it has any right to be and will have children and adults giggling in no time, while making silly thunder noises.I have already ordered a second one to customize with the many glow in the dark drop in parts available. The point of this flashlight is that you can tailor it to your needs. Want more distance? More flood? Drop in LED parts? There are people who make custom buttons for it if you want to go down that road. The colour I got is flawlessly anodized in a gorgeous blue gray, very rich with knurling top and bottom ends. The pocket clip is polished stainless steel and is very easy to clip to your pocket, also very strong. It doesn’t interfere with unscrewing the head either. The shape of the light suits any kind of grip you may choose to use. In my opinion, if you’re considering this light, buy it anyway. You won’t regret the purchase.I will add photos when I get the chance to play with it some more, it will take some planning to do this light justice. Please do check back.

Fantastic light, great value for money.
This design was born from a group of torch/flashlight enthusiasts (torch geeks my wife says) on a forum, and Lumintop stepped in to make the product come to life. As you can imagine it has all the bells and whistles and much more. Gone are the days when a torch did just ON/OFF. This is the Star Ship Enterprise of torches.Standard use (Muggle mode) is turn on, ramp up, ramp down to required power level, and turn off when finished. If that’s all you need, then it does that perfectly. If you want more it’s all there. Candle mode, party strobe, bike flasher, tactical strobe, lightening mode (fool your children into believing there’s a lightning storm!). Lock out mode, momentary mode, and custom settings are all available if you wish to explore the user interface to its limits. Don’t worry, there’s a good instructions leaflet with diagrams to help you navigate all the settings. This is a very high output light and it will get hot if left on the highest settings. Not a toy, not something you should leave small children to play with (unless you’ve set to Muggle mode, and set the upper limit to a reasonable level). One very important detail you need to be aware of is the battery specification requirements. This is a single cell light. It requires one 18650 lithium ion battery. If you don’t use these already you will need a special charger. Here’s the important bit, make sure you only use high quality cells, look for brands such as Samsung, LG, Panasonic/Sanyo, Sony. Lumintop specifies: max battery length of 65mm, unprotected, high drain (over 10A), flat top style battery.Overall I’ve found the build quality for the price is remarkable. The finish is smooth and pleasant. It’s a nice size and feels great in the hand. Knurling is diamond cut, and made better than lights that cost much more than this. The supplied clip is solid and holds the light firmly. I absolutely love this light, and plan to buy another soon.

A small, powerful flashlight with great support to match
This is the flashlight geek's dream EDC, it's small, bright, well made and has everyones favourite Andúril firmware. Might not be for you if you don't like a tail switch but that's the only thing to consider.Comes with a decent Samsung cell as well which is a nice touch too.My first one has anodisation on the inner tube (used for the tail switch) so the button wasn't working all the time. Removing this with a knife fixed the issue but I sent LUMINTOP-EU DIRECT a message explaining the issue I had and they sent me out a replacement free of charge as a gesture of goodwill. So you know you will have great support buying through Amazon and had free next day delivery through Prime which is great.

Stopped working after 12 months
This torch stopped working after less than 12 months, expensive, not that good, poor battery life. May as well buy a cheap £5 torch

No good for walking the dog.
It's not a bad little flashlight but only really good for an EDC type light. Bought this after all the hype surrounding it plus I use a flashlight most nights in the winter. Now the turbo mode is very impressive but doesn't last very long before dropping down to a light level that's about only useful to avoid stepping in dog crap . Very little throw as it's a TIR lense with no reflector so if my black dog is any further then say 30m away then you ain't seeing it and turbo only gives you the chance to see it for a few seconds before dropping down rapidly and it gets quite toasty very quickly. For EDC I highly recommend it which is it's target audience but for dog walking buy something different with a bit more throw as the lumin power of this alone isn't enough light. As pictured above I have a number of budget flashlights and most of them are better for dog walking in the pitch black then this one. Still nice to have in my collection and worth the money. For dog walking I would recommend the convoy S21A with a decent 21700 and a cheap charger which could be bought cheaper then this.

A piena potenza scalda molto.
