LidoPatch

Due to sciatica I have constant pain. I've had surgery BUT unfortunately still experience pain. My surgeon said I would have pain. I thought he was just preparing for the worst. He didn't lie. I keep these patches in my messenger bag and use them as needed. It takes the edge off pain. I keep medical tape to keep them in place. I do this because slacks rub on patches as do COMPRESSION socks. Give them a try. When you experience constant pain we would love a miracle. At this time it's reasonably priced patches.

I'm disappointed. I bought a single package of these patches from another vendor that had adhesive covers that kept the patches on my back. I liked those so much that I ordered what I thought would be the same product, but this vendor sent me three pads with no covers. Simply putting the pads onto my skin without covers doesn't work well -- as others have noted, the patches don't adhere well on their own, and they're very moist, which gets the gel into my clothing. I guess I will need to send these back, even though the lidocaine itself helps cut my back pain. Be sure to buy the kind that has adhesive covers as well as patches (I'm not sure how to tell, however).

My initial experience with the patch was with the prescription grade patch. Since I was no longer able to get that atch (5%) I thought I'd try the over the counter brand. In reviewing comments one that stood out was the complaint that it didn't adhere well. I find that to be true. It design seem to provide a level of relief.

Total Waste of money.

They worked about average...but they don't stick to your body. And this is a big problem. I use the Lidoderm patches RX, and if these were thicker and better adhesive it would be much more appealing.

The patches themselves actually work. However, they do not adhere at all. We had to use paper tape to hold it in place and then it bunched up in the center. So, we ended up doing an asterisk design with the tape to hold the patch in place.
