RCBS Small Base Die Users Need This
I'm only giving this 3 stars because the design leaves a lot to be desired. The idea that RCBS has designed a product of this nature so that it is fragile and must be replaced if you suffer a jammed case is truly aggravating. But since many popular rifles will only chamber reloads that have been processed through an RCBS "small base" die, we don't have a whole lot of choice in the matter. If you are reloading military 7.62 NATO brass using the small base RCBS die, you'd better have one of these (along with their stuck case extractor kit) on hand. When you use the stuck case extractor, you can easily drill too deeply though the primer hole and damage this part, rendering it useless. So it's not a matter of "if" but merely "when" you're going to need it, even if you are fastidious about cleaning and lubing your cartridge cases. C'mon RCBS, take a lesson from the competition and come up with a better die / decapper design...please!

Does not fit to 6.5 CM small base resizing die
I bought this 6.5 CM decapping rod to replace the original one that came with the small base resizing die. This one seems to be very well made and sturdy. However, it is a lot thicker than the original. I am not sure which resizing die this is for. Because it does not fit, I cannot use it. Be aware that it may not fit to your die.

Perfect replacement for .270 win
This is a perfect replacement decapper for an RCBS .270 Win. resizing die. If you spend any amount of time reloading, you will eventually break one of these for whatever caliber you use. Luckily, RCBS knows this, and offers replacements at a very affordable price.Note: this is only the de-capper. It does not contain the die or nuts that thread on it.I broke the original on some nickel plated brass that I was being a little too over eager on resizing. It happens.

High Quality Tool
I ended up bending the one I had (100% user error) and at this price, it wasn't at all a problem to replace. It just hurt to have to go in for the night because of my screw up haha. Great tool, does what it is supposed to and expands the neck enough to have no issues seating the bullet. I love my RCBS dies and I use them on my Dillon 650. Can't beat the quality for the price.

Perfect
Exact replacement for the one I bent and broke. Unfortunately like others have said, the pin is a common failure if your brass cap hole isn't perfectly in line...it will bend or break something. These are cheap enough and the dies do a great job.

Good price, BUT not the part I needed . . .
Was looking for the expander/decapper for the 6.5 CM Neck Sizing Die. This isn't it, but it will fit the Full Length Sizing Die. Not sure why RCBS makes the neck sizer with a flimsy decapping rod, which was super-easy to break. Lesson learned: only have enough of the pin sticking out of the bottom of the die to get the primer popped out, and brush a small amount of lube in the neck of every other case.

Don't buy this. Call RCBS.
This pin is supposed to fit a 6.5 Creedmore RCBS decapper/expander die. It doesn't. Call RCBS and they will send you the correct pin assembly usually at no charge.

Recapping unit that works.
I bought this because the standard de-capping unit for the Universal de-capping die had a spring in it and shot primers out and they bounced out of the primer catch on my press. With this, no more stepping on spent primers.

el mio se daño por falta de lubricacion, se tuvo que extraer con taladro y machuelo(RCBS 09340 Removedor de Cajas atascadas), este quedo perfecto como nuevo para dados RCBS
