Works everytime!
Made the mistake of buying a cheaper brand a few weeks back. Big mistake. Advecta works for all 3 of my cats & begins immediately to kill off fleas. Won't make that mistake again, sticking with what works, at a reasonable price!

This Product Works Great!
This flea treatment for my cat worked great! My sweet cat ended up with a terrible flea battle after we stayed at a motel for a week. She had flea bites and dermatitis around her neck. After two months of use, all the fleas are gone and her coat is back beautiful again. I thought it was going to be a long treatment process, but thankfully we found a product that took away all of our anxiety.

My cats approve
We didn’t get fleas until we got a dog where we had to bring in an out and we have 2 cats. The application is really easy and the cats have no issues when we gave them the mediation. It also works pretty quickly we have been flea free with within the month of using it.

Quality
We are trying this since we couldn't find our old topical. So far this one seems to work well and is less expensive than the other one.

Finally! So pleased.
Finally found something that works. I have been talking about this for over a year. Not this product, but flea traetments. I have gone through Frontline Plus (best, but after two weeks, fleas start to appear), PetArmor Plus (same ingr. as Frontline Plus, but for some reason it was dropping effectiveness after a week), BioSpot (no, just no, didn't do a thing), Adam's Flea and Tick Spray (really great if you do it every two week, but the smell in the house can get potent and the cat being a little wild still was yeah, haha), and Adam's Flea and Tick drops (nothing, terrible). It's our backyard that is the problem. The rats have been using our neighborhood as a place to go through. They bring fleas all over the place. I don't like to use harsh sprays because of the birds we always have around, and the dogs use the backyard a lot. Well, I finally can say that it's been almost two weeks and this product is still going strong. I'm getting the cat version for the cat now because she was on Revolution from the vet, but I'd rather something I can purchase at a lower price and on my own, without going to the vet. I have two dogs who get an allergic reaction really bad from just one flea bite. I have noticed that with my older dog, she is sleeping better and finally has stopped scratching. I was having to do quite a lot to ease her pain. For her, even if the flea bit her days ago, she'd still be scratching. I thought it was environmental and now I see that the allergy itchies just keep up for days after.A note about this product though. I live in Washington state. You may have a hit or miss with effectiveness depending on where you live, and how many pets you have. This one worked for me. I'm seriously overjoyed with this product. And the best part is the affordability. I have been watching the Advantage II but it was just too expensive for me with all the animals I have to dose. But this one is GREAT. None of the dogs got sick and what I reallllllly liked was that it absorbed within hours. The BioSpot stayed slimy the entire month. But Advecta had no reactions (some of our dogs are extremely sensitive) and it absorbed fast. There was no scent to it.If you have a question, feel free to ask.

Not effective
This may contain the same ingredients as Advantage II but it definitely is NOT the same. My cats currently have fleas. (I have 7 cats.) They have had fleas before so I know the treatment schedule I need to follow to break the life cycle and end the infestation. This product is a joke. It's effectiveness doesn't even last 7 days. I thought perhaps this infestation was worse though I couldn't see how that was possible because last time I had fleas all over my house and this time I do not. Still, I gave it a chance. You can imagine how much I have to order to treat 7 cats multiple times. I'm done. I've gone back to Advantage II. I feel like I'm just throwing money down a deep hole to get no results. The packaging is also awful. Several of my cats fight me when I need to put the meds on them so I have to hold them down. The liquid doesn't come out of the tube quickly AT ALL and it also makes a very loud sound when it's getting close to the end which only scares the cat more and I sometimes lose my hold and have to wait until I can get a hold of them again to finish the dose.It does not work. Anyone who says it does obviously doesn't have a cat with fleas. And if it's being used as a preventative measure then the cat probably didn't encounter any.....beyond day 5 of being dosed. Pay the extra money and get Advantage II. At least it actually works.

Maybe some false advertising…
I have been using this for a while. I’m finding that it’s less effective than it used to be. And I’m having to apply about every 3 weeks. I had three 4-pack boxes of this on hand. I was measuring doses to be sure it was correct and apparently there’s not even a full dose in each vile. The amount measured is at least 1ml less than stated on the vial. I measured EIGHT vials. It may have the same ingredients as others but the quantity is lacking. It does work for a short while but reapplication has to be done before 30 days.
