Great pens for auto body marking!
These were purchased to mark body damage on vehicles at our body shop. The work great! The assorted colors allow you to pick and choose which color will stand out over the body color of the vehicle so you don't miss any repair work to be completed. Great buy, excellent product. Just be careful when priming the pen for use. Over priming can lead to leakage, and nobody wants that.

and they both stood up to rain and 100F heat while being very easy to wash off
I experimented with these first on a 15 year old pickup with old paint, and they both stood up to rain and 100F heat while being very easy to wash off. A wet/damp paper towel gets 99% of it; Windex is quicker and gets the last 1%.I got these so my nieces and nephews can decorate my new white car, and my tests with the old pickup leave me no doubt they will have fun and I will be able to censor what I don't like and erase it entirely afterwards.ETA: When I bought the new car (Mazda 3 hatch, Pearl white), I drew a blue line under the hatch where it was not visible unless the hatch is up, and two weeks later, with my nieces and nephews, the line did not come off at all with a damp paper towel. Windex removed most of it with some hard scrubbing, but there is still a blue tint. So we called off the decorating party. I heard two possible reasons: One, new cars have factory wax coatings; two, the Pearl paint job itself. I do not know if either (or both) is true. I won't change the rating since it did work so wonderfully on the 15 year old pickup, and came so close to being eraseable from the new car. But the advice to check on a small area first is good advice.

A Necessity for auto appraisers and shops
I am an Auto Damage Appraiser and I use these markers daily. I've tried a few other brands but these are the best. They last a long time and stay on the vehicle until the paint is hand washed off. It's cheaper to buy the set as they run around $8.00 a piece

Easy clean up.
We use these for marking up automobiles in collision losses. They clean up easily with mild detergents. My only issue would be that we could purchase them in bulk as advertised in single colors. (Yellow would be our prefferance)

Just what we needed!
We got hit by a severe hail storm this year, and these markers were exactly what we needed to mark up the cars for estimates. One note - the orange and blue colors are especially difficult to clean of white cars. Other than that, they are perfect!
