It’s been almost a year since we installed these stair tread rugs in our cabin. They were very easy to install because the backing is sticky enough but not too sticky were it damages the wood or is hard to peel off. They are non slip and reduce the noise. After being on the stairs for so long (this is a rental cabin so you can imagine the abuse 😉), it was time to either replace them or try to wash them in a washer. As description indicates, these should be washable. So put them in a washer on a gentle cycle. To my surprise, they came out with no stains and the backing was still sticky! I did not put them in a dryer because they were almost dry. I let them air out overnight and re-installed them in the stairs in the morning without any issues. They look like brand new again! It’s a high quality product and highly recommend it.

Arrived early, easy instructions and install. No more slipping on wooden stairs! Even the dogs like them! Great color, had for 4 months, so far no wear, or curled corners. They have played flat from day one. Stick great, but if you need to remove them, it’s simple as well!

I live in a home that is close to 130 years old. The stairs are uncarpeted, and not in the greatest shape. Functional, but one of the stairs had a crack in the wood running almost the entire length of it. In addition to that, there were a couple nail heads that weren’t quite hammered down all the way and sticking up just enough to stub a toe on. The nail heads in question were located along the edges, unlikely to be stepped on but still an Invitation for injury. Not to mention that socks on feet running down or up bare wooden stairs could potentially cause injury as well. As a renter my options to make changes are limited. These stair treads were an excellent solution. I did not need to cut any of them down to fit, but it was nice to have that option. The adhesive backing is light but sufficient, and adheres well enough. The lightness of the adhesive is forgiving, very easy to lift the tread back up to re-position if needed. For me, that removed any pressure or stress about getting it right the first time. Having said that, the downside of a light adhesive is that the corners of them have a tendency to pop up a little bit at times. Standing on the offending corner for a minute is all that is needed. The light gray color is as described. The treads are utilitarian, so while they aren’t going to be the softest, they are soft enough on bare feet and get the job done. The built in ridges also help to remove dirt and debris. My dog had an accident on one of the treads, absolutely soaking it with urine which discolored it. After cleaning it with not even a whole lot of effort - you’d never know it ever happened. Overall, I’d recommend this set of stair treads. Good value for the money, renter friendly and not having to purchase anything separately to hold them in place is worth its weight in gold.

these worked well. attached easily and look better than i expected without ruining the unfinished wood underneath. they don't slip either.

We bought a house where they put stair molding over the edge of each stair. It makes it sooo uncomfortable going down the stairs without shoes. Finally got them installed which went really fast. They make it so much more comfortable and makes it much easier to clean and keep clean. It also makes it a little less scary about slipping. I did only a few stairs to start and they've stayed stuck so I finished it off. They have a very easy pull tab so it makes it really easy to install. Would recommend.

These stair treads are effectively preventing slips and falls on our staircase. To apply them, peel off the plastic backing to reveal the adhesive side, which securely attaches to the treads after wiping down the stairs. Press firmly to ensure they stay in place. While there have been slight issues with the corners coming loose, pressing them back down resolves the problem. Measuring 30 inches by 8 inches, they offer extensive coverage on each stair. We needed a quick fix for the very slippery basement stairs in our new house before we renovate - these did the trick! So easy to apply and they stay stuck down until you physically pick them up. They work well for our toddler and our dog to more easily, and more importantly safely, navigate the staircase.

These stair treads look great and have good adhesion. Quite easy to lift off for rearranging if needed. I had 14 treads to do, which took very little time. Vacuums up very nicely even though the texture is more pronounced. Some reviews mentioned cutting plastic back wrapping down the middle and removing half at a time. I show on my photos that each tread has a little plastic tab in one corner, and all you have to do is pull that tab to remove the sheet in one piece. Very nice grip because of the texture gives solid footing. Pleased with purchase.

These stay so well on the staircase. Very easy to install. I live in a loft with wooden stairs and it helps to have the stairs less slippery. So happy with the quality and the color.

I was sceptical at first as to whether these carpet strips would actually work or not. Happily, they work really well. We purchased them to help our old dog negotiate some slate stairs that have been varnished and were really slippery for her. The carpet has been down now for over a month and are in daily, constant use by the family and the old dog. They haven't moved at all and our dog doesn't hesitate to use them. They also blend in with the slate colour very nicely. They are of good quality and look like they should last quite a while. We are definitely pleased with our purchase and would recommend them.

These are amazing and worth every penny! They as easy as it gets to install, and have held up very well after a couple months of use. We wanted something to help our older dog grip the stairs better and these have worked amazingly well. They also are very easy to vacuum and wash if needed.
