This was purchased a while ago all I can say is that it works flawlessly UGreen products are excellent as I have used several of there products Many Thanks.

I wanted to extend the two USB-3 ports from Synology DS918+ and thought this one with the option to be powered via a USB C cable should be ideal for running external hard drives.It does work. I now have four WD Passport Portable Hard Drives attached to it. It however doesn't seem to supply enough power to run even one Portable Hard Drive without the USB-C power supply. I tested this with both Synology DS918+ and my home PC. A single external hard drive connected through it failed to work in both cases (making clicking sound and powering on and off).So if all you need is to connect a portable (not desktop) hard drive (not ssd), there are other USB hubs that work perfectly fine without external power supply.

Compact size, looks and feels pretty well made. Have had a number of UGreen products now, and apart from the odd item I've generally found them to be good quality.This has been in constant use now for a few months and seems to work well, no issues to report. Reasonable price too. So far so good, recommended.

Needed this to stop myself bending down to the desktop comp. Just plug and do whats needed.

I didn't really run out of USB slots as have 2 at the front of my pc & 4 at the back but what I found was when using wireless headphones, wireless mouse and keyboard I would sometimes get interference.With this item I have it on my desk so the USB receiver's are just under my monitor next to my keyboard & wow what a difference!No Interference, sound on my headphones not cutting out, mouse not cutting out and using USB storage is as good as the USB slots on the pc itself.Great purchase!

I am always short of USB ports, so this extension is invaluable.

I keep my console underneath my desk so adding a HDD or USB Stick gets a bit tedious. With this, it's on top of the desk and easy to get to. It adds more ports too and if needed, you can add a 5v external power supply to help run your gadgets. I can confirm you can connect a usb stick, hdd and controller all at the same time.

With a Mac M1 I need a reliable extension I try to couple Chinese knock off‘s and then they have problems with my external hard drive showing that they were not getting any power but with this don’t need to worry again, compared to the rest on here, that’s value for money.
