Beautiful setup and components, with high replayability, and a fantastic unique touch of its own
After playing this game about 5 times and absolutely loving it, I ordered the expansion as well. While I'm waiting for that to show up, I might as well drop a review here. :)I love the way this game lays things out, rather than just a bunch of cards or dice, each player has their own board, which is custom-shaped to slot in the proper components into the proper place. The artwork and layout is very enjoyable, and there's a nice balance of strategy to luck. (Or what I would call a nice balance, I.E. More strategy than luck, but luck has a definite part)It is really easy to start learning, but understanding all the varying traits of the many heroes can take a while. At first I found the several heroes daunting. But with another game or two, they became one of the most enjoyable aspects of the game! I look forward to adding in Thingvellir and giving that a go.This game is what I would call a bidding game. It's not quite card, nor board, but not like poker either. It's super fun though, and I highly recommend it.

Set collection betting game
I don't like being games, but this one has a simple mechanic that makes it enjoyable. Players place bets to choose turn order. Turn order determines who gets to select the first from a selection of cards. Each round players are given opportunity to increase their coin value to use during betting. If you enjoy set collection or betting games, this is a simple to learn, fun to play option for you. Even if you don't enjoy betting games, you might want to give this one a try. You never technically spend your money. You get it back plus a little extra each round. Each set scores uniquely allowing multiple ways to victory.

Nidavellir is a great game.
Nidavellir is an easy game to learn especially if you watch a youtube video on how to play. It is easy to teach and new players catch on fast. It may take a second game to be competitive with someone who has already played. The only down side of the game is it takes up a lot of table space to play. I have only played it with two and three players. It played well with both.

Amazingly fun game, fairly simple once you've learned it
Highly recommend this for any gamer, especially if they like fantasy. Building an army of dwarves by recruiting them from the taverns? Come on, what's not to love about it! It's a fairly straight forward game, although the first time or two might take a few references to the rules. Once ytou get it down though it's a pretty quick game, and have been enjoyed by everybody we've introduced it to so far!

Fun, easy to learn
Very easy to learn, my 9 year old's favorite game currently. But enjoyable for adults, this is not a "kiddie" game, we are just gaming nerds. Wish more than 4 could play!

Fun drafting game
This is a fun drafting game with a terrible name and mediocre artwork. It's not very pretty but it's smooth and plays quick. You are trying to draft the best dwarven army you can throughout several rounds using a light betting mechanism where you place chips facedown on the three different taverns and whoever has the highest number on there chip get's to choose first.

Great game and easy to learn
One of the best games of 2021 IMO. It is a lot of fun, interactive, and easy to learn. Players can trade in coins, get a ton of points, and make some great decisions. A lot of different paths to victory in this one.

Hidden gem
Really fun game to play, easy to learn, fast paced which makes you wanna play more. Works with 2 player but i felt its meant for 3+Kid friendly, cards are a bit thin which i think you will sleeve to avoid dmg.
