First, hand in picture is NOT to scale... don't be fooled. Second, this box does NOT fit standard letter-size envelopes. With a little tweaking, it would have been perfect! Not sure the rationale for not making it fit a letter size envelope for the sake of a little design adjustment. Lot more uses for a little bigger size. What were you thinking! (still, don't like the misleading hand:box graphic! Is ANYONE HONEST ANYMORE)?

I’m very happy with these lock boxes I’m using them for my delivery pizza drivers to drop their cash and credit card recipients high quality and my employees love them I would definitely recommend them to anyone very nice thick metal and and can’t be beat I was shopping for quite some time to find a good value and I’m happy that I got these ones and have recommended that the company I work for should look into purchasing for all 90+ restaurants in the future

This box is perfect for our employees to drop off customer checks so that they stay secure until deposit. The only feature I don't love is there is a slot in the back of the box where you screw it to the wall and sometimes people slip their checks into that slot (which is unsecured) instead of the main slot by accident.

Its smaller than I thought. But it will do the job advertised . Strong . Well built . The slot could be smaller . Wouldn't use it for cash or checks . They would be too easy to fish it out . Though I understand some do use it for this very thing .

I purchased this and some white paint markers to make a "Disney Fund" savings box. Works great to keep us out of the savings!
