Good router for the price.

I bought this for very small jobs, and so far, so good. Light weight, easy to handle...pretty much what I expected for the price.

Got this on a sale for about $29 bucks. Wasn't expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised. It performed well. It does get really warm though. The collett was machined a little off center and wobbled slightly. I cut it in half with a dremmell cutoff wheel and that helped some, but will probably have to order a replacement. I also cut the little plastic piece holding the base around the unit, so I could tighten the adjustment nut and not crack the housing. Works great in my shop made router table. Can't speak to durability, because I've only used it a handful of times.

It came next bay but I didn't have any bits . So it would be nice if it at least came with one maybe even a cheap one. Other than that I love it so far

The instructions are complete gibberish. Nothing makes any sense. Example: "Maintenance" "#6 "After completion of action of a small detail, after using return it in time will hand electric drill tool library safekeeping, warehousing into the ark, develop good working habits, also is a kind of mechanical maintenance and maintenance. WHEW WANT A MESS. Whole operation manual is like this. THIS IS A ROUTER do not know the other reviews were talking about. MADE IN CHINA might have as been written in Chinese. Hope it works better than this manual is written. No way to tell how to use all the accessories that come with it.

Installing new doors and casings ( not prehung) requires mortising in the hinges, using a small router and templates. Or you could chisel them out by hand, which is kinda torturous...having moved recently and everything in boxes, my laminate trimmer ( router) was nowhere to be found, so I bought this little Chinese made router. It almost works! Spins up to speed, the clear baseplate is cool! What's NOT cool is that the collet doesn't tighten enough to securely hold the bit! The supplied wrenches are a joke, made of 18 gauge sheet metal(!)... used actual wrenches to tighten but nope...the bit slowly slides down out of the collet, resulting in a deeper cut than desired. Back it goes!!
