Arrived very quickly, packaged efficiently and safely and even fit in my mailbox.Product is almost exactly as described and pictured.I'm using this as a replacement for my CRAFTSMAN Garage Door Opener (model 139.53918D) battery (a DieHard battery, DJW12-4.5 or Chamberlain Part # 41A822) which has lasted about 4 years. Based on Price alone, it would appear to offer good savings over the Sears OEM replacement, but only time will tell.Note that my OEM Die Hard battery has a large positive terminal and a small negative terminal. This SP12-5 battery has two small F-type terminals !While the Amazon product details state compatibility with the Die Hard DJW12-4.5, this may be an issue for some installations and of course is "conveniently" left out of the Product Specifications and the pictures are sadly ambiguous. Some other sellers provide a simple adapter cable to correctly terminate the power cables to this battery: electrical continuity is important here for proper charging and use characteristics, a loose terminal connection from putting a large connector onto a small terminal is just not acceptable. I had to make my own adapter.This model offers a slight upgrade in Capacity to 5Ah vs the OEM 4.5Ah, not really that significant, but might just get you a few more open/close cycles and/or extend the standby duration without power for a couple more hours.The big deal for me in choosing this battery over the many others is that it is sports the UL mark and a 1 year Warranty, so if you're installing this battery inside your house with constant charging for anytime availability in the event of a power failure, you want to choose the highest quality and safest possible option (personally, I installed a smoke detector close by anyway).This battery is made in China like all of the others I looked at on Amazon.Dimensions are Identical to the DieHard battery, DJW12-4.5 except for the Terminal Size difference mentioned above, hence a 4 star rating and not 5 for lack of clarity/disclosure in specs.For convenience, I used the peel and stick Invoice/Order details label that came in the box and stuck it to the battery so I have a record of approx install date, price paid and part# etc. Let's hope this one lasts as long as the original.I will update this review after a few months of use or upon any adverse performance issues.

My garage door opener recently started beeping at me indicating a new backup battery was needed. I had to replace the battery once before so I pulled out the existing battery to see the make and model of the battery. I was shocked that I had written on the battery the date I had installed it and it was a little over 5 years earlier! Since this was one of the cheaper batteries it was a no brainer to reorder this battery.

Bought this exact battery from Batteryshark prior.That battery lasted 3.72 years.Time for new battery.Tried and true - bought from same seller.So far very good.Time will (always) tell.IF ANYTHING changes, will update review.

Purchased Jan 2021, died Jan 2024. 3 years vs the original battery that lasted 12-13 years. Should have know better when the stamp on the top said - 201012, not sure if this means it was manufactured 2010 in the 12 mo, but if so they sold me a battery 10 years old. This would make it similar to my original battery life. Avoid this brand unless you plan on purchasing again in next few years.

Half the cells have given up at the 11-month mark. Will see if I can get anything out of the warranty.Update: warranty was honored; +2 stars
