Tobacco Pipe Lighter and Czech Tool - All in One

Maybe if I move to Poland Mr. Brog will give me a job. I'm in sales and let me tell you, it's easy to sell something if you go in knowing its a great brand and a great person behind it. Mr. B and his protege have been really awesome. They turned a defect problem into an opportunity to make a lifelong customer. Then the honest to goodness recommendations and advice I get. I've never regretted one purchase from MR. BROG AND THIS LIGHTER IS NO DIFFERENT! It's an inexpensive lighter that looks a million bucks. It works great and feels great and never failed me and I use it every day. I use this lighter for taking in the car and in public places and I get compliments on it regularly. Basically this is my evening piece and my built in Czech tool silver model is my day piece. The gold and marbled red look sweet. The tool pulls down and locks in place to tamp your hot ash. I can finally touch some hot ash without getting hurt! Lol. Pull it out and you got a poker or reamer tool. It's not very long but extremely useful if your pipe tool isn't handy. For the money, I'd say the pros crush the cons, not outweigh. But I've yet to find a con about it in month of constant use. I love the Mr. Brog logo placed on the "marbled" furniture. I hate to sound overboard but it's all true. I've bought so much junk from certain vendors I really want to make sure my fellow shoppers know a winner when I find one. This tool is aces and the seller will take great care of you if you reach out to him. Happy smoking friends!

Great looking lighter that works every time! To other pipe smokers looking for a nice lighter this is it. Note that this lighter needs a quality butane to work like Lotus. I tried a different brand and had some of the same problems as others on here, but after switching butane it fired right up.

The lighter is just "okay" because of two things. 1. I thought when I was buying this it was going to be a torch style butane lighter (blue flame)...it is just a regular butane lighter with an angled head to make it easier for pipe lighting. It is ok for what it is. 2. The second complaint I have is that it seems to either leak or use an insane amount of butane. I have to fill it before every smoke.UPDATE: After about 1 week of use this lighter began to leak butane so fast that it became unusable and completely worthless. I would fill it up with butane right before heading over to a friends house to smoke and by the time I got there it was completely empty to the point that it would not even light. I took it apart to see if there was any way to fix it, but after a few hours of tinkering this piece of junk went into the trash. I am adjusting my review rating to 1 star. :(Also, as a completely irrelevant side note that may help someone: as I mentioned before I bought this lighter thinking that it was a torch style lighter, but I have since been told by a veteran pipe smoker that the torch style lighters are not good to use on pipes anyway because the burn too hot and can damage the pipe during a light.

Heavy duty lighter, but doesn't hold much lighter fluid. Also, I've used it for approximately one month and it's starting to sputter.

I was looking for a soft flame lighter with an adjustable flame, and it seems the options are very limited. This one has the adjustment feature, but it’s only mildly effective. Even after you adjust the flame you want it, there is a large flame when you start it and many times the flame size varies from one use to another. It generally starts on the first or second click, but sometimes it takes one or two more tries.Overall, the fit and finish is decent. The wood grain is painted on and the gold colored plating was done even. One big plus is that the lighter has a window so you can see how much fuel is left.I guess this is a matter of “you get what you pay for” and I feel like I got a lighter worth pretty much what I paid. That said, I’d pay more for the same model if it had better quality and reliability to match.

It was exactly what I was looking for. Arrived right on time. It came on a padded shipping envelope pretty standard. The lighter itself came in a beautiful black box with "Mr. Brog" on the top along with a pipe, the writing is gold colored.The lighter is pretty sturdy from I can tell I have used and filled it a few times now and it works well, lights every time whether it appears to be out of fuel or not. And the Czech tool (also known as a reamer) is actually useful for cleaning your pipe. Over all I am very happy with the lighter.P.S. another review said the lighter leaks I have yet to experience this.

I actually do like this lighter, but really just the way it looks and it's intended functions. However, I have some issues with mine lighting. There was a few weeks where the thing would only light every 10-12 clicks, which was frustrating. Since then it's been doing BETTER, but some times it still takes 4-5 clicks to get a flame. It's very unreliable.The design itself is great though. It looks unique and classy. And I love the fact that the tamper tool is stored in the bottom of the lighter (however, the tool itself is quite small).If it lit more easily and consistently and the tamper tool was just a little longer, I would love this lighter.

Last 8 month and this small piece of plastic broke, this level won’t snap back after you light it.
