Conbrov T89 HD Dash Cam Car Video Camera Dashboard Driving Recorder with 2.7in LCD Screen and 140 Wide Angle lens

Have it barely out of the box and am already wishing I had just spent real money on a good one. Problems so far (without trying to record anything): Can't get the SD card formatted, after about a dozen tries. Don't bother trying the UM, because it won't help you, and its vagueness and obvious not having been written by someone for whom English is their primary language are second on my list of "so far" gripes. The unit itself is a bit cheesy (back to the "should have just bitten the bullet on the cost" thing), and I can't tell if the SD card is even properly seated, because, unlike EVERY other SD card on this planet, it isn't spring loaded. Assuming that I can get the card formatted, and actually put it into use, I'll update this.UPDATE 1- FINALLY found the problem with formatting the SD card, and while it doesn't make sense, it is at least the apparent solution- do NOT put your microSD card into your computer's msd slot- put it into the adapter for normal/old school SD, and THEN format it (leave the default settings, it seems to prefer those, so FAT32, 32KB allocation), or use an external card reader. All of these are details which one might put into, say, hmm, a USER'S MANUAL.UPDATE 2- After putting it to a road test, it does appear to have good quality video, and the field of view is good. Not planning to use the audio, so I can't speak to that at this point, but I like the auto record feature, it removes any doubt about whether you're actually recording. The mount is solid, and I don't see any jitter or shaking in the unit after mounting it. Based on the road test, I am adding one star to my initial rating.FINAL ANSWER- I'm dropping my rating to 2 stars. After just 90 days of operation, the device won't stay on, just auto offs itself for no reason, and has stopped loop recording. It records until the card is full, then just stops recording. Won't stay on the mount, keeps slipping off. So frustrating. Consider another camera.

This is an excellent dashcam! Just see for yourself...It's a great camera. The battery does not last long, maybe at most 15mins, but I doubt any of these dashcam batteries last very long. There some out there that don't have batteries but using capacitors (great if live in hot places like Arizona) and have to keep it connected.Works on a loop recording method, it just cycles back to the first file and overwrites it once the SD card is full.

I purchased this camera last month to take on a trip. I went into it with pretty low expectations considering it's just 40 bucks. I used it for 6-8 hours a day on the trip, in a rough riding truck, on the highest resolution setting. After 2 weeks I can say the video quality is very good as is the video stabilization. The audio is pretty good but the mic picks up the background noise from the diesel engine running. The only down side is the 32 gig card. It limits you to 2 1/2 hours of recording on the HD setting. When not loop recording videos are broken up into 20 minute segments. This camera exceeded my expectations by far, and I will be buying 2 more for my other vehicles.

Replaced a similar model from only 9 months ago that Combrov said they couldn't replace because it was no longer available. Ended up with a full refund. Bought this one. So far so good. Not as good at night as last one is the reason for only 4 stars.

I have been using this dash cam for a while and so far so good. Very light unit and the windshield mount has so far held up. The image quality is good and I get the full HD quality. I will be adding a bigger card so that I can move away from the 10 minute loop.

It was fun to play with in the beginning. Records traffic via video; the microphone for audio recording was poor.

Returned, doesn't do what I want.
