It is not a stand-alone drawing tablet. Those are WAY more expensive. You hook this up to your computer and it acts as a second screen. You open whatever art software you have on your computer and draw on it that way. If you have a laptop you can hook it up to, I imagine it would be as portable as your laptop, but I will say, this thing is very large and can be a bit cumbersome in a lap.

Q: I use the 2 in 1 cable, but find that its too short for my setup. Is it possible to purchase a longer one, and can you show me where to find it?

Hi Marino! Is it because the USB port and HDMI port are on oppisite side of your PC, which made the PD156Pro cable not long enough to plug in both side? If yes, could you please try to connect the PD156Pro power cable to test? Because there is a USB-A(Female) port on PD156Pro power cable. It could prolong the PD156Pro USB cable by 14~18 cm. If the cable is still not long enough, then you can try with the following: 1. Use a “USB 2.0/3.0 extension cable (male to femail)” to prolong the PD156Pro USB cable. 2. Use a "USB adapter" to extend the USB port on your PC. 3. Try our new PD156Pro 3-in-1 cable. We are planning to release the new 3-in-1 cable which could solve this issue. Yes you can use it as a writing tool and to sign documents. But it has to be hooked up to a computer. You could not take this seperately to a meeting to take notes.
