Easy to install, longest cable, compact, simple, reliable
I need a charging station to do one thing: charge my car reliably when I plug it in. Having a longer cable gives you more flexibility as to where you can park your car and still charge, so longer is better. A built in scheduler/timer is a nice to have, I have no interest in any other bells and whistles. The Wallbox has the longest available cable (25 ft, compared to the Chargepoint's 23 ft), is very easy to self install, is small and unobtrusive. And it costs about $100 less than fancier compeitors like the Chargepoint. It's worked reliably for the past three weeks since I installed it. It has wifi and bluetooth to enable you to use your phone app to monitor and set timers and see charging history. It sounds like the balancing feature that allows for charging multiple vehicles on the same circuit (with multiple wallboxes) might be nice future proofing, though I doubt I'll ever use that.A good low cost, simple, reliable charging station with the longest available cable.

Compact Wall Charger That Gets the Job Done!
Very happy with this charger. Nice and compact form factor makes it very easy to install and it doesn't get in the way like some of the other chargers I've seen. Secure it to the wall near your NEMA 14-50 outlet, if you have one installed already, and plug it in. It's literally that simple. Smart features work well. Very easy to set your amp charging rate through the app. It's a dial that you scroll to your preferred amperage. The app lets you input your kWh cost so you can accurately track your charging costs. I read that some users are disappointed that there isn't the ability to input multiple kWh rates such as peak. off-peak, super off-peak, etc.. With the ability to schedule your charger to charge during the lowest energy rate periods, why would you charge at higher rates anyway? If you do decide to charge during a different rate period, you can input that rate prior to your charging session for accurate cost calculations. I definitely recommend this product.

Easy install and fast charging unit
If you want the convenience of a good home electric vehicle charger then you want to give the Wall Box a try. We did and it is working great. You’ll need a good electrician to install a NEMA 14-50 outlet because this unit is NOT hardwired. Otherwise you can buy the hardwired version if so inclined. We like how this smart box can charge any EV currently made. The charging scheduler and notification features are top notch. The phone app is easy to use and has a ton of useful information. We have a Tesla so the adapter is required. Just snap the adapter in place and plug the charger into your car.The unit gives you a hefty 9 kwh on a 40 amp circuit. That’s plenty to satisfy your overnight charging needs. The unit is compact and is also rated for use outside your home. We placed ours in the garage and with 25 feet of cable it can easily hit the perimeter of your garage. We highly recommend the Wall Box and the local utility rebate helps make it affordable.

Stellar, Reliable, Customizable EV Charging with a Laundry List of Features
Good: Feature-packed, high amperage, adjustable charging power, warranty, attractive and informative easy-to-use app, looks appealing once installedNot so Good: ExpensiveWe went with Wallbox after we had two Level 2 chargers die on us in a period of about 2 years. Initially, the price really turned us off since we could find 32-amp Level 2 chargers for about half of what we ended up paying for our Wallbox. However, those chargers weren’t nearly as feature rich (and reliable, in hindsight) as the Wallbox. The app is great, if a bit simple, which is a positive to me. You have all kinds of options that will allow you to control your charger (including the ability to manually set charging amperage), calculate your energy usage, track specific patterns of use, even calculate your electricity cost from charging (my personal favorite, since people have started claiming that EVs are as expensive to own as ICE vehicles)!I installed this myself with a drill in about 10 minutes. Electronic setup took another 5-10 and we have had no problems whatsoever with this device since that installation. The warranty was a big plus for us since we’ve already had two malfunctions. Truly the only drawback to this charger is the higher price. In my opinion, the price is absolutely worth it and depending on long-term reliability (looking great so far), Wallbox is a brand that’s earned our loyalty. We hope they keep great products coming!

No Issues So Far
Pros- Looks good- Adjustable output although the vehicle actually controls input- Color on the unit changes depending upon what the charging status is- Collects statistics, i.e., kWh used, amount of time used, cost in a bar graph or list format- Can schedule charge times if you wish. Ideal for variable charge structure from electric provider- Pushes software updates to youCons- Sometimes the software updates take a long time- Not necessarily the easiest unit to connect to my phone as it seems to have a pretty short range- Lights up your garage when it's not charging, so if you have windows and prying eyes . . .This unit doesn't get the mentions that competitive units get on Jeep forums for example, but never have seen a complaint about it that other units get. Never faults on my Jeep. The key is getting the power source correct in the first place. Keep in mind that although it is rated for a higher amperage, your vehicle only accepts what the vehicle was designed for. So if you have it set at 40 amps, my Jeep for example would still only take 32 amps. I just feel more comfortable setting the unit at 32 amps and everything is cool. It just consistently works for me, which is exactly what I am paying for.
