too "scientific" book for your job development
This book is being taught at the University of Kuwait. And a guy recommended it to me. At first, the book is boring but as I sailed deep inside this book for not less than 6 months, people around me in my job feared me & noticed that I have upgraded myself a lot. When there were only a few pages left people around me in my job including enemies and friends started saying that this guy "which is me" is not a normal person! he is an engineer. I didn't believe them, but my instructor confirmed what they said about me was true. She told me that I am more than an engineer not because she wants to keep me for herself or because of my money but because she noticed a lot of difference happened to me through 8 months of studying. The book contains a lot of chapters and what is nice is that it has a chapter that talks about people management. In that chapter, it gives you the ability to manage people around you especially in your job. Another chapter talks about laws and regulations and that chapter helped me a lot through my job. I can say that this book "Software engineering" is a deeply scientific book that gives you many subjects related to your work in computer science & software engineering. And it can push you even to a higher rank including a master’s degree in computer science and a master’s degree in Data science. Maybe you are wondering why but believe me just by "reading" this book, it will raise your EQ and you will know a lot of subjects that will further increase your career development in many different directions. And the reason is that knowledge will come to you as an outcome of your advanced reading. The book is too deep, and it is for scientific brains "Bachelor of Science" and NOT arts brains "Bachelor of Arts".

Book has zero real content
This is book spends several hundreds of pages on telling that ”doing a good requirements analysis is good”, ”writing quality code is better than bad quality code” and ”architecture is important”. It is amazing how obvius findings are listed throughout the book.I do not recommend this book to anyone. Maybe someone who wants to learn the software engineering vocabulary this is okay. They can then, with the help of this book, name the problems at hand and contribute that way. This is the least concrete book I have read during my 5 years of business school and 3 years of technical uni.
