MoJo's Dog and Cat Brush For Shedding, Ideal Deshedding Tool, Veterinary Approved

I have two cats with long hair and they live outdoors. One cat had to get completely shaved down because I could not keep the knots out of her hair no matter how many times I brush her (poor kitty looks so sad). My veterinarian and my sister recommended a brush very similar to this however it cost $50. So I did a ton of research and found this brush at a reasonable cost. It felt like I should try one at a reasonable cost before paying $50 for a brush I wasn't certain that was going to work.The cat I posted pictures of his very fickle, and was very hesitant to let me brush her with it in the beginning. But the end of our five minutes, she was happy to let me brush her tummy without fighting me! Oh my. .the hair that blew away in the wind let alone what I collected on the brush!My other Knotty Kitty, has no hair right now except for on her mane; since we live out in the country the cats always come home with burrs...ugg. I was absolutely amazed at how easily the burrs came out of her Mane and she sat still and let me take them right off of her, again without fighting me!This is a fabulous product, I'm super happy I did my research and found this brush, and super happy with the product as of now. You know those fancy deshedding brushes they sell at Petco, the ones that are like 50 bucks? Yeah. I have a cat with a massive shedding problem and I was beginning to believe I had no hope left but to shell out half a Franklin to save my clothes and furniture and food and...everything. It gets everywhere, like some kind of wicked plague spreading through the house. But this brush saved my life, y'all, I'll swear by it: it pulls HUGE amounts of shed hair from the undercoat, even on our smaller boy whose fur is too thin and fine for regular brushes to work on. The 'bristles' have the density of a flea comb, or the trimming end of an electric razor. The bristle area is detachable from the handle if you ever wanted to do that for some reason (maybe they stock alternate heads?). After giving the cats a thorough brushing once a week, we can finally love on them without suffocating on their fur. Peace has been restored to this home.

I have what I'm pretty sure is a Maine Coon mix, and she has a lot of long, fluffy fur. She's not terrible at shedding, but she does have trouble with fur balls (even with anti-hairball food). I had one of those traditional wire brushes, but the bristles were too rough for her. This is a step down from a furminator, but is much cheaper and really does a good job of tackling her undercoat. The edge makes it super gentle and easy to clean.

Just got this last week and the first time I used it on my bigger male cat (think butterball turkey with fur) I was shocked by the amount that came off lol. I have a harder time getting the skiddish smaller cat to participate but she is warming up to being brushed. He now rolls around so I can brush various locations like his belly and his sides. Never saw anything like it but then again, I was not much of a cat brushing owner. These two rescues seem to have more undercoat and this does the trick. I keep it on the screened in porch because that place is a good warm comfortable cat place.

I purchased this MoJo PetsLife Pets Deshedding Tool-Large a month ago. I tried it on my dog (middle size) before writing a review, it works. Compared with two I had before, the interval between teeth of the Deshedding is smaller than usual, or tooth itself is smaller. When I comb my doggy's fur, my dog seems not very comfortable as before. In addition, maybe, the teeth of Deshedding has not been grinded very smooth. Therefore, many fur seems to be scraping down. Fortunately, my dog did not bark or fight back. The design is good, and the price is considerable. It needs more quality control. It maybe not good for small and very young dogs.

I have a pug, and PUGS SHED!!! A lot! I saw this grooming tool and decided to give it a try, since my dog hated the shedding rake tool I had. This comes nicely packaged. It's all ready to use, just remove the plastic protector from the grooming head. I tried it gently on Taz, and he didn't seem to mind it at all. But what really struck me was the amount of hair that came off in the tool! It's easy to clean, you just use your fingers. I'm not sure how it works, but it works beautifully! When I was finished grooming him, I had a pile of hair that would make another pug!It seems to soothe him and not irritate his skin like my other grooming tool did. I would recommend this to anyone who has a shorthaired dog that sheds excessively. And they have great customer service!Let me say I was not paid or given a free to all or anything like that, I'm just someone who decided to try it and I'm very happy.

My cat hates normal brushes (tries to bite them and won't let me brush her for more than a few strokes). But she seems to love this! Hasn't attacked it yet and will let me comb every bit of fur without struggle. I don't know about long term help with shedding just yet because I just got it, but it did comb out piles of undergrowth and she's not even a long hair cat. Also, you can use the comb without the handle!The only downside (and I'm not entirely sure it's possible to fix this) is that the comb leaves a little pile of hair on your cat wherever you end a stroke. I think it may be just perfecting the technique.

I'm so glad I ordered this brush!! We have a Lab/Retriever mix and have always had a dog but never one that sheds like this one! Some days I felt like I was knee deep in dog hair!!!
