Swan Products ELMRV12050 Element RV & Marine Camping and Boating Water Hose 50' x 1/2", White

The only kind of hose to use if you want to drink out of it. I use them on every spigot at my house. They are a little pricey but worth it. I also like that they are white since the UV light at my house is very strong and I don't like the fact that other hoses deteriorate in the sun. These are made of materials that are able to maintain their suppleness and newness over years and they are not so heavy that it wears you out to move them!

The quality is good but the lengths are NOT....I ended up ordering three when it should have been only one ..because they were consistently the wrong lengths..by 3-5 feet and I need the EXACT correct length..

Great light weight hose, exactly what I needed. I ordered 4 sections, one of the male hose ends, the threads, is slightly damaged so I can’t get a good connection to the next section of hose.But Swan is a good hose company

Junk. Cheap. Don’t buy. Thought I’d save some money. Put campsite pressure on hose and one end popped off, another end sprung a leak at the fitting. You’d be thinking how much pressure was the site under and I’d say no more than expected, regulator read normal. You sometimes get exactly what you pay for, and I paid for junk.

I would have preferred a 3/4 inch drinking water hose for additional flow within our RV, but they are evidently no longer available. A 50 psi regulator is a requirement as some campgrounds have water pressure too high for the RV's internal plumbing, however, even the "high flow" ones restrict flow somewhat. Even with a regulator, the larger the hose, the higher the flow to the RV. This is not a serious problem, just an added convenience when using the shower or multiple faucets at the same time.This hose does provide adequate flow for most campground situations and it does seem to have the largest internal diameter currently available. It appears to be well made and it has reinforcements at the connections. If it holds up to the abuse RV hoses are bound to get, it will be a good buy.

Been using a 5/8" RV & Marine 50' water hose for several years now, for my hydroponic gardening. Needed it in another location, so had to replace it with this one. Didn't realize how much easier to handle, the 1/2" is, compared to the 5/8". The 5/8" was cumbersome and much heavier than this 1/2". Lighten my load makes me smile.

its really really stiff and keeps a memory , so when trying to unroll and or to roll up the hose at anything below 55 degrees fahrenheit give up if its helpless it will just kink and bend over at the kink, can not get it wrap up nicely or stretch out nicely always tripping over it because it keeps it memory of the coils and wont lay flat around camper
